The Old School House was simply beautiful. The owners did a fantastic job keeping the flavor of the old but adding some new. I so appreciate that - its a talent not many possess. We thoroughly enjoyed this home

The home is lovely— very comfortable, functional and downright perfect!The owner was very communicative and friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time in Stowe and staying at the schoolhouse was really great for our family of 5. Everyone had a beautiful bedroom and we all enjoyed ring together on the back porch!

Charming old refurbished schoolhouse a short walk to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable beds. Perfect for our family of 8. Would definitely stay there again. So relaxing on the screened in porch that overlooked a beautiful yard.

Great ski getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying here and skiing at nearby Stowe. Beautifully decorated, well appointed, and our kids really appreciated the backyard and nearby playground.

Perfect Stowe Getaway

The Stowe Schoolhouse was the perfect Vermont destination. The home is so warm and inviting and all of the finishes/touches were first class. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Weekend Trip

We had a very nice stay at this property. It is really unique. It is well appointed with quality appliances, dishes, bedding, etc. The location is perfect for walking to town for shopping and restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The kitchen is wonderful for cooking a family meal or quick breakfast. If you have mobility issues, the downstairs front bedroom is the best choice. It has plenty of room around the bed and a zero entry shower. The other downstairs bedroom has a bathtub. The rooms upstairs are wonderful, as well. However, the stairs are a challenge for older folks. The location is central to the town of Stowe. We had a great time exploring Vermont! The hosts are friendly and helpful! We would love to come back.

Great property in a great location

Beautiful and well laid out home. The 4 bedrooms and 3 baths give everyone space and the screened in back porch is a great place to gather. Convenient to everything in Stowe. Highly recommend!!

Stowe Schoolhouse

Property is exactly as promised, and the photos are exactly what you get. Really central location too. The communication is fast and friendly. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a break in Stowe.

Amazing experience for the whole family!!

From toddlers to grandparents - We had an awesome time staying at the old schoolhouse! There’s enough room for the whole family, and the instruments are super fun to explore! We loved walking through the backyard to the playground at the elementary school and the short walk into town and the bike path!

Beautifully restored former schoolhouse

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in this beautifully restored former schoolhouse. It has a perfect blend of modern conveniences and vintage touches with many nods to its former life as a school house. The home was immaculately clean with many local treats and fresh flowers awaiting us! Very easy walk to shops and restaurants in Stowe Village. We had a great stay! Thank you so much!

Beautiful home in the heart of Stowe

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this historic schoolhouse that has been meticulously renovated. There were so many special touches that made this home one of our favorite rentals. My musical teenager loved being able to play the piano and guitars. The house was perfectly situated in walking distance to the quaint Stowe Village. We highly recommend this home.

Picture Perfect

The house was exaclty as described, and as the pictures show. We stayed for our annual ski trip to Stowe and it was the perfect combination. Walking distance to the town, 3 minute drive to the famous Mountain Rd to restaurants, and a 12 minute drive to Stowe Mountain Resort. All amenities in the house are of the best quality. Owners have excellent communication. Would stay again.
