Romantic finca in the mountains with a great view on the sea.

The hundred year old completely renovated finca is romantically located 500 m above sea level, approx. 3km away from Sayalonga. It offers dreamlike views across mountain ranges and the Mediterranean Sea. The finca is surrounded of a well kept garden with old trees and tropical plants, in quiet nature. The coast is reached in about 20 minutes by car. The charming small house contains a combined living/sleeping room with an open fire place, stereo equipment, TV, a small, fully fitted, built-in kitchen and a bathroom with shower. In front of the house there is a covered terrace. Garden furniture, bed linen and towels are included. White stone furniture under shadowy trees invite you to sit and forget the world.

Villa Solimar

Unfortunately we did not Stay at Villa, after meeting Reiner & following up mountain to find Villa which was interesting! Pool was filthy, the whole Villa did not feel as if it had been prepared for our arrival. Very little water in Pool & very dirty, Reiner said it would fill up in 2 hours!! No way, apparently they have water issues at Villa ? Outside sun loungers we’re written & the furniture in photo’s were not there! Dark & drain smell in Villa, not as if it had been opened up recently! We were expecting a remote Villa & to have our own space, But nothing about this would have given us the comfort we would have liked. To be notified regarding Pool would of been nice, we would definitely stay there with these conditions. We had to find alternative accommodation & VRBO were so slow in communication that our first 3 days of a 7 day break were ruined, not impressed & very disappointed

Finca muy agradable

Ideal para desconectar y descansar en un ambiente muy tranquilo y aislado. La descripción cuadra muy bien con la realidad ,es una finca muy bonita y agradable, y la casa es pequeña pero está bien (mejor de lo que parece en las fotos). El acceso a la finca es complicado, pues es una zona montañosa, pero Jurgen envía un documento detallado de cómo llegar. Totalmente recomendable.

Herrlicher Blick

Super schöne kleine Finca, mit Liebe eingerichtet. Bestens ausgestattet mit Gewürzen, Essig, Öl ... Der Garten mit Pool ist toll, wie auf den Fotos, und man kann entspannte Tage hier verbringen. Der Weg zieht sich ein wenig von unten bis zur Finca, aber es lohnt sich und man wird das letzte Stück geführt, dadurch kein Problem hin zu finden. Kommunikation sehr schnell und sehr freundlich. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

Belle villa mais horrible gestionnaire

Tout d'abord nous sommes arrivés dans un logement à la propreté plus que douteuse, nous devions faire le check in à 16h et une fois arrivée alors que nous avions prévenu notre arrivée, personne pour nous accueillir. On nous a fait entrer à l'arrache par téléphone. Lorsque nous sommes arrivée la piscine était sale et il a fallu attendre deux heures avant qu'un technicien vienne nettoyer. De plus, on nous informe APRES AVOIR PAYÉ que nous devons également payé l'électricité 3 fois plus cher que le prix du marché, je n'ai jamais vu ça de ma vie. A noter qu'il n'y a également ni WIFI ni machine à laver et qu'il faut faire attention à sa consommation d'eau si on veut une douche chaude. On nous prélève beaucoup d'argents de frais de ménage alors que c'est sale puis on nous retient de l'argent sur notre caution de manière totalement infondée, sans preuves et impossible de récupérer notre argent. C'est vraiment malhonnête et à fuir. Je ne recommande absolument pas cette villa et ne recommanderai absolument pas à mon entourage.

Stay to forget/ Estancia para olvidar

My stay in this house has been the worst I have had in many years. Access to the house is difficult, the views from the house are fine, but the house inside is very small. The smell coming from the bathroom is unbearable and the biggest problem is that the bed is next to the bathroom. The arrival at the house was handled in a disastrous way and the person who manages the house, Gitti, the worst professional I have seen in my life, they had left us an almost finished roll of toilet paper, old towels , moldy scouring pads , rusty pans where cooking was impossible and an endless list of things that made the arrival really disappointing. We had to clean the house ourselves and at the end we left the day before because we couldn't take it anymore. To top it off, the owner, making use of being a bad person, has withheld the bail money from us saying that we have broken a mosquito net that was broken, cracked and dirty upon arrival and we could not use it, so we were eaten by mosquitoes. Conclusion: Impossible to be comfortable at any time in that house, I honestly do not recommend it or my worst enemy. And the treatment of the owner the worst I have seen, regarding Mrs. Gitti, without any education Mi estancia en esta casa ha sido la peor que he tenido en muchos años. El acceso a la casa es dificil, las vistas desde la casa están bien, pero la casa por dentro es muy pequeña. El olor que sale del baño es insoportable y el mayor problema es que la cama está al lado del baño. La llegada a la casa fué gestionada de una forma desastrosa y la persona que gestiona la casa, Gitti, la peor profesional que he visto en mi vida.Nos habian dejado un rollo de papel higiénico casi acabado, toallas viejas, estropajos mohosos, sartenes oxidadas donde era imposible cocinar y así una lista interminable de cosas que hizo que la llegada fuera realmente decepcionante. Tuvimos que limpiar la casa nosotros y al final nos fuimos un día antes porque no aguantábamos más.. Para rematar el dueño, haciendo uso de ser mala persona nos ha retenido el parte de la fianza diciendo que hemos roto una mosquitera que estaba rota, rajada y sucia al llegar y no pudimos usar.

Efterårsferie

Dejligt hus med skøn udsigt. Fin kørselsbeskrivelse. Vi ankom til et hus uden vand men fik dog hurtigt assistance fra denlokale opsynsmsmand som ikke den dag fixede problemet. Han måtte tilkaldes igen dagen efter. Vand problemet blev aldrig rigtig løst vi badede med en skål som vi opsamlede det varme vand i. Vi manglede en generel information om huset eks. Skrald, nærmeste købmand, åbne lukke dage mv. Vi havde fantastisk vejr men desværre blev vi ædt op af små insekter som gav os væskende infektiøse bid med efterfølgende sår, ret ubehageligt. Måske udlejer kunne have vejledt i at vi skulle medbringe balsam, spray mv. Grunden bar lidt præg af renovering af vandledning eller lign. Lidt ucharmerende og et lidt slidt udtryk i det hele taget. En af sol stolene var i stykker. Poolen blev renset om mandagen og var derfor ikke klar da vi ankom. Til de kølige aftener savnede vi nogle tæpper. Flot udsigt og fantastisk uspoleret natur. Nette kleine Finca

Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub in der kleinen Finca genossen. Der Garten und der Pool mit Blick in die Berge und das Meer waren wunderbar. Abends kann man von der Terrasse einen tollen Sternenhimmel genießen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war problemlos und freundlich. Vor Reiseantritt bekamen wir schon Informationen über nette Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Der Kontakt zu Gitti (Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort) war unkompliziert. Kleine Punkte abziehen muss ich leider bei der Ausstattung der Finca, die etwas abgenutzt und nicht sehr gut ausgestattet war. Im Bad gab es für 6 Tage Urlaub nur eine Rolle Toilettenpapier für zwei Personen und auch nur eine geringe Anzahl von Handtüchern. In der Küche fehlte es z.B an Spülmittel. Leider ist auch der Kühlschrank unglaublich laut (Küche ist vom Wohnbereich nicht durch eine Tür getrennt) und hält einen nachts oft wach. Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub verbracht und können die Finca, trotz kleiner Fehler (die aber verbessert werden sollten) empfehlen.

Paradies mit kleinen Fehlern

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche, bei schönstem Wetter, in der herrlich gelegenen Finca SOLIMAR verbracht.Die Aussicht ist sowohl zur Meer- als auch zur Bergseite hin wundervoll und spektakulär.Die Dachterrasse ist der perfekte Ort zum Seele baumeln lassen und Sternenhimmel bewundern .Das Haus hat eine ausreichende Größe für zwei Erwachsene, ist zweckmäßig, aber nicht luxuriös ausgestattet und verfügt über einen schönen Pool.Der schön angelegte Garten könnte eine freundliche Hand gebrauchen und das Bad mal eine intensive Grundreinigung.Wir hätten die himmlische Ruhe auch nachts gerne genossen, leider hat uns der variantenreich Geräusche fabrizierende Kühlschrank daran sehr gehindert :) Wer Abgeschiedenheit und wohltuende Aussichten sucht (und über kleine Fehler im Paradies hinweglächeln kann) ist hier absolut gut aufgehoben! Sayalonga ist ein ruhiger, sympathischer Ort mit guten Restaurants einer Bäckerei und einem kleinen Supermarkt.Vom Haus bis hinunter ans Meer haben wir mit unserem kleinen Fiat genau 20 Minuten gebraucht und uns schnell an den unbefestigten Weg gewöhnt. Hasta pronto , FINCA SOLIMAR !

Ruhe und Genuß Pur !!! :-)

Wir waren vom 20. - 29.06.2018 in dieser wirklich tollen (schnuckeligen) Finca. Wer die Ruhe und einen grandiosen Ausblick in die andalusischen Berge oder ans Meer liebt, ist hier wirklich an der richtigen Adresse! Im Vorfeld hat uns der Vermieter schon viele Tips und Info´s per E-Mail geschickt, was es alles an sehenswertem in der näheren und auch weiteren Umgebung gibt. Der Hammer ist aber wirklich der tolle Pool, den wir auch täglich nach unseren Ausflügen nach Granada, Ronda, Malaga oder El Torcal genutzt haben. Die Finca selbst hat eine funktionale Küche und außen einen Grill. Abend´s sind wir auch gerne die 2,5 KM nach Sayalonga gefahren und haben eines der 3 tollen und vor allem günstigen Restaurants besucht. Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden und bestimmt kommen wir irgendwann wieder in die Finca Solimar! :-)

Un petit bout de paradis

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans cette très belle finca. Au calme, avec vue sur la mer et les montages, à seulement 10 mn du très joli village de Sayalonga, cette finca est très bien équipée, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bonnes vacances. Nous y avons passé la première semaine de mai, l'eau de la piscine était très bonne et nous en avons bien profité. Très bon accueil à l'arrivée. Nous vous conseillons vivement cette location, vous ne serez pas déçus. Nous avons qu'une envie... y repartir !!!

Entspannung pur. Unsere Empfehlung!

Die Finca Solimar bietet für einen entspannten Urlaub alles. Es herrscht eine absolute Ruhe, die Aussicht ist herrlich und noch besser als die Bilder versprechen. Gerade an dem traumhaften Pool und in den Abendstunden, wenn der Himmel absolut farbenprächtig war konnte man die Ruhe besonders genießen. Die Austattung der Finca ist sehr gut (z.B. Küchengeräte, Grillequipement, Reiseführer, Lesestoff...). Wenn irgendetwas war konnte man die Familie Franken (Verwalter) anrufen, welche sich sehr nett und freundlich um unsere Belange gekümmert haben. Auch die Betreuung durch den Vermieter, Herrn Tiggelkamp war sehr gut und freundlich. Den Restaurant- und Ausflugstipps sind wir teilweise nachgegangen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir bedanken uns für einen tollen Urlaub in der Finca Solimar und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Perfect peaceful and quiet couples get-away

The outdoor accommodation is ideal with a good size pool, big wide views but still privacy. Indoor accommodation is basic but functional and rustic. The really lovely stone shower is stunning. The location up in the hills is ideal to get away from the busy Costa del Sol seaside area and we found we preferred being by our pool than by the sea. Easier to get a drink, get some shade or go to the loo! And no worries about leaving your belongings on beach while you swim. And it was hot so we needed refreshing dips often. The drive up is exciting and really makes you feel your in a remote place but its still easy enough to go down to beach or town. Sayalonga village was full of very helpful people. They even opened the supermarket for us when we arrived during the afternoon siesta! And the Bar - Restaurante Palustre felt authentic locals pub but we were welcomed by the friendly owner and we visited it everyday and not the others targeting the tourists. We only stayed one night at this property in order to go on holiday at a convenient time to us and Juergen was very helpful enabling us to do this. As was the Uli their local contact who helps manage the properties and drove in-front of us to the next property. The rest of our week we stay at Castia la Colina property number 2248677 to read my review of this one. It's just a good! So get on a plane, load up the hire car stock up on food and drink and ICE and relax! PS don't use GoldCar Rental - it's budget and that's why I picked it through rentalcars.com but being the cheapest meant we had to queue for an hour in the airport despite seemingly checking in on-line and also they add on stealth charges such as insisting of taking out a higher level of insurance. Next time I would prefer to pay a little more with a high quality brand such as Hertz.

Was die Aktivitäten und Unternehmungen angeht,waren wir sehr zurückhaltend,da wir zum einen den unbeschreiblichen Ausblick und die Ruhe genossen haben und zum anderen den Weg nicht mehrmals täglich diese Strecke fahren wollten. Ansonsten ein wirklich schickes,kleines Häuschen mit Traumpool und totaler Ruhe....

eine herrliche woche in dieser wunderschoenen kleinen finca... wir haben taeglich gebadet, im pool und im meer, gut und guenstig gegessen, die aussicht ueber die berge und das meer genossen... auch an die etwas abenteurliche anfahrt haben wir uns schnell gewoehnt... wir kommen bestimmt wieder !

Maison et cadre magnifiques

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses à la Finca Solimar ! Le cadre est idyllique et la vue superbe. Tout est fait pour la détente et le repos. La (grande) piscine et les terrasses sont des atouts supplémentaires. La maison elle-même offre un confort simple mais largement suffisant et est aménagée avec gout. Toutes les photos qui illustrent l'annonce représentent fidèlement la réalité ! La région est très accueillante et offre de belles balades. Les Andalous sont très attachants Un grand merci à Juergen et son épouse

Wunderbar erholsam

Alles bestens! Superlage, etwas abseits (3km bis Sayalonga - sehr nettes Dorf, wobei gut der letzte Kilometer über einen unbefestigten Bergweg ging, klappte mit unserem Mietpolo, war trotzdem froh, wenn geschafft - etwas Höhenangst :)) 700m über dem Meer - Ausblick vom Bett darauf - wunderschön - wie auf den Fotos. Rundum tolle Landschaft. Das Haus, gemütlich, sauber, gute Matratze, 2 Kopfkissen und zwei Oberbetten ;) viel Lesestoff, Unmengen Reiseführer (gar nicht erst mitschleppen!), Tipps zu Restaurants, Stränden etc Küche: großer Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Mikrowelle, Salatschleuder, Saftpresse, Brotdosen etc, alles da Wasserdruck dank Zusatzpumpe immens, sehr heißes Wasser. Kamin, Ofen und zusätzliche Elektro-Heizung - die war nötig, hatten für die Jahreszeit leider nicht so optimales Wetter... Betreuung ließ nicht zu wünschen übrig - vielen Dank auch an die Nachbarn! Nur weiter zu empfehlen, auch wegen der Nähe zu wirklich wunderschönen Stränden und Dörfern! Nerja, Frigiliana... Waren in Ronda, Granada, Gibraltar, Malaga, Antequierra, alles gut zu erreichen. Auf Wiedersehen!

Everything was gorgeous and more so. The view, the whales, the birds, the flowers and ripening fruit, the coquis and their songs, all of it so beautiful. The house easily accomodated all of us with communal space and private napping surfaces on the balcony or pool area. It could not have been lovelier. And Larry and his staff are thoughtfully present without being obtrusive and so needs are met easily and courteously. Definitely try to get there again soon. It was wonderful
