Quiet 2 acre property with access to the Whitefish/Crosslake Chain of lakes as well as waterfront restaurants and snowmobile/ATV trails. Property has a private dock to park boats/water toys for direct access to the chain of lakes. A public access must be used to launch and is just a 2 min drive from the house. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy a new construction 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with plentiful wildlife and outdoor space for gatherings. Full kitchen with new appliances for cooking, open concept to the living room, and a whole new outdoor grilling station.

Ann's place is super cute, clean and in a great location! It was also very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Ann responded to my questions very quickly, and checking in and out was very easy. We went up for a long weekend over Valentine's weekend so we were able to find some fun in the area and our dogs had a blast running around on the lake. We wanted to snowmobile but hit a "warm" weekend with melting snow. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

My wife and I stayed at the Bourbon Hideout for 3 weeks. We really liked the privacy of this property. It was a great space for our dog, who loved squirrel-watching from the patio. We also really appreciated the attached garage.Unfortunately, the lake access was a disappointment. There is not a view of the lake from the home. The steps to the dock were extremely steep. And, there was no way we could have kept our boat at the dock, given the weeds and murky water.As far as the home itself, the new grill was nice, and having WiFi and a smart TV was a plus. However, the window A/C in the living area was so loud that it was difficult to hear the TV or have a normal conversation. Also, given the price of this VRBO, we expected nicer furnishings, cookware and utensils.We did like the location, as it was convenient to Pequot Lakes and areas of interest in the Brainerd Lakes area. However, this particular property was not a good fit for us.

Place was well described, and we had a great time. I would recommend that you make a note that the boat ramp is under construction and looks to be for some time.

Relaxing Getaway

My family has stayed at this property a few times. Each time it has been an amazing getaway from the city. The owner is friendly and responsive. This is by far one of our favorite places to stay.

Comfortable, Clean, Everything we needed

We had a great stay at the Bourbon Hideout. The beds are comfortable, everything was very clean and organized. Ann promptly answered our questions as we navigated adding extra days to our stay. The patio is a great place to hang out at night!

Great quiet getaway

This place was a very quiet and private place. We enjoyed sitting out back on the patio just hanging out and enjoying our time being on vacation. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed to have all our meals. Overall a great place and we would stay here again!

Super, Super Cozy Home!

This is a super, super cozy home on a beautiful 2 acres of land. Spent a week here with my 3 year old boy and we couldn't have possibly been happier.

Bourbon Hideaway Indeed!

This place is a gem! The property is beautiful, spacious, very private & so peaceful. The fall leaves were stunning. We stayed 1 night for a wedding & wished we had more nights to enjoy the bonfire pit. The home is very cozy, clean with comfy beds. Great for a small family or 2 couples. Thank you for sharing!

Winter wonderland

It was just beautiful!! Surrounded by snow covered trees it was perfect! The cabin itself was very cozy & comfortable. We snowmobile, went snowshoeing and ice fishing. It is also very convenient to great restaurants. Overall just what we needed! Thank you!

Great week

We had a great stay at Bourbon Hideout. We had four adults and an infant for part of the week and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed (minus a pitcher but we donated the one we purchased). There was plenty of outdoor space for the dog to play (ours loved the jolly egg that was in the yard). It was pretty hot and humid the last few days but the cabin stayed cool enough for us.

Cute place that met our needs

This little hideout worked well for our family, the house is well stocked and Ann was very prompt on any questions we had. My family likes a "cool" house and the window air worked well for us, we brought some fans to supplement the ones they had and push air down the hallway. We were a little skeptical about the weedy waters but all was good, just had to clear our prop once in the channel. The home is in a good location for nearby restaurants, gas stations, Bertha Boatworks, etc.

Just what we needed!

Thank you, Ann, for opening up your house to us; we had such a relaxing and peaceful time. Your home is very beautiful with newer appliances and decor. We loved the remoteness and access to the lake - especially just chilling on the dock and taking in the Fall changing of the leaves! Back at the house, we enjoyed using the barbecue and having a glass of wine around the fire pit. Just so serene! The beds were super comfy and we both agreed that we had such a peaceful sleep. Thanks again Ann!

The cabin was nice and quiet. I was able to tie up my pontoon fishing boat to the dock and did not have to worry about it being in rough water over night. The cabin was modern and clean. We would be interested in renting again.

Relaxing getaway

We were looking for a relaxing getaway with our adult children and 2 dogs, and we found it. Being on the channel, we were able to boat from the rental out to the lakes and my son could kayak with his dog. Ann was very friendly and responsive to all my questions. We didn't have a need for anything while we were there, as the house was stocked very well. We will absolutely be staying there again! Michelle
