Everything was just as advertised. We came home to Baltimore for a sad occasions, but Carl's place was great to come back to at night for some rest. When we come home under better circumstances we will be looking at staying here again. If you never been to the city note that parking can be difficult but its worth the stay.
Wonderful place that is close to many sites. Ample space and wonderfully remodeled. Stairs are tight and steep. Rooms are large and a great stay overall.
We came for some sightseeing. The location of the property worked well and accomodations were nice. We enjoyed a night in cooking dinner, playing games and watching tv.
Perfect for our Baseball/brewery weekend! Very walkable to Camden yard and many local breweries. The house was perfect for us (3 adults and a puppy). It was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is cute but can be questionable from area to area but we are from the Philly area so this can be typical in many neighborhoods so we are use to it.
Properly was nice and clean. Checkin super easy. Beds comfortable, ceiling fans were nice in bedrooms. Stairs would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.Location was central but I wasn’t comfortable walking around at night.
What a great place. Wish we had more nights there. So comfortable. Fine for me but stairs to upstairs are a little steep if you have older guests with you. Host was outstanding. Thank you for sharing your home.
This property is located in Pig Town, a historic area, a 15 min drive to the city centre. Spacious rooms, with a small garden out back. We enjoyed Fielders sports bar on the next street but the area is not very lively if you're looking for nightlife. Quiet for the most part esp in comparison to NYC where we traveled from. Property has all the amenities required. Great that we could bring our dog with us. We required more supplies than the cleaner had left but the host resolved this matter promptly when contacted. Comfortable beds and laundry facilities in the property too.
This property was great! Cute as a button older style TH with many updates but still preserved its older charm. The steps are not for the elderly, disabled or faint of heart but thats just part of its character. Would definitely stay here again!
As it says on the box. Property Manager was excellent.

Location
I was under the impression this sleeps 6 but it only has 2 Queen beds (my bad) but the six was an air mattress - I also understood we would be in a comfortable neighborhood .. not so much its a hood -- we kept looking over our shoulder and not walking anywhere
The house was the perfect size for 2 adults and our dog and super cute. Also, very clean and smelled great. The owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. The Neighborhood was a 10 min uber ride to the National Aquarium. The yard was perfect for our dog to run around in and sun bath. Mattress was very comfortable.
As soon as I stepped in the home , I knew it was perfect. To all the fixtures and features to the home, to the cleanliness and layout, this home was perfect and definitely will come back in the summer! Only thing that I didn’t like was parking, during the day it was great but if you left and came home late you had to park blocks away and walk.(not the renters fault though) Carl was great! Thank you
This property was a clean renovated older townhouse. Parking is on the street but we didn't have any problem finding parking. The stairs are very narrow and steep as appropriate for a house of this time period, but would be difficult for most seniors. The area is an inner city area that is being upgraded, but I would not be comfortable as a 66 year old woman to walk in the neighborhood. It is good value for the area. Much better than staying in a hotel, plus you are contributing to an individual instead of a corporation if that is important to you.
Pros: the house was clean and comfortable and the property manager was responsive. We were able to park on the street, but there are restrictions during games.
Cons: really really bad neighborhood. There were pimps and strawberries a street over and alot of “activity” in the streets at night. Wouldn’t recommend for single women, families with kids, or elderly based on neighborhood alone. My husband slept downstairs by the door to be safe. Also house needed more blankets and hand towels. Stairs were narrow and steep, ok for me but i did slip and fall from about the 4th stair, something to consider if elderly, larger, or disabled.
