Our stay was great. The property was wonderful. We enjoyed near by Elkin and other destinations aren’t too far away. The door locks were a bit tricky at first, but once you figure them out they’re easy. The kids spent a lot of time in the game room and fishing.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful 100-acre estate! It was the perfect setting for our family get-together…plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still feeling cozy and connected. The en-suite bedrooms were a huge plus, giving everyone their own comfort and privacy.The property itself is absolutely stunning, and the fishing pond was such a fun and relaxing bonus. We also loved how conveniently located it was just minutes from Main Street and some great vineyards, which made exploring so easy.Everything about our stay was smooth and enjoyable. We made so many special memories here and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a peaceful, spacious getaway!

I really enjoyed my stay. The house is impeccably clean and very spacious. Our family was able to spread out and not trip over each other. In fact, I felt like I walked my legs off going between the master bedroom and the kitchen. You have everything you need to cook meals of any size. The decor of the house is very soothing and the beds are incredibly comfortable. My son-in-law said that it was the best sleep he has had in a long time. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed here for our book club’s annual trip to Western NC. The house was fabulous! Lots of room to spread out and nooks if we needed privacy. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, glasses and all we needed. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions or last minute needs. A herd of deer greeted us every morning over coffee. The outside seating areas were great for afternoon cocktails. We are seriously considering rebooking for next year.

Wedding weekend

We were in town from Florida for our son’s wedding in Dobson. This property is absolutely beautiful!! The views are amazing. Very clean & welcoming!! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy all it had to offer since we were so busy with the wedding, but loved our stay!! We hope to be able to come back one day to enjoy it more!! Wonderful memories!!
