The perfect location for all things South LakeTahoe! Walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and the home itself was very cozy and clean. We’d love to come back.
Place is as described, neighborhood was nice and close to the water. Only downside was there was housing construction going on during our stay at the neighboring house, but aside from that this place had everything we were looking for
Overall, great experience. The property is very clean and has all your daily needs, kitchen and bathroom things. We were nervous at first for our dog because it’s very close to all the casinos and night life, but it was in the perfect location where it was far enough to be in a quiet area but close enough to walk/scooter over anywhere.
This property was in a great location, within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, and South Lake Tahoe Village. The cabin was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but we made it work with 4 people & 2 dogs!
Perfect spot for a trip to Heavenly. Everything you need and more- mountain, village, grocery stores and restaurants all at your fingertips.
Stairs up to the sleeping loft are a bit steep, just something to be mindful of if you have trouble with that kind of stuff- ample lights and handrail there to help!
Will absolutely stay again- thanks for an amazing trip!
Overall a great experience. Way more snow than we expected, but it worked out. Property management contact set us up with someone to help us get unstuck which was extremely helpful!
The cabin was so cozy! Very well equipped -towels for shower and hot tub, dog bowls, everything you need in the kitchen, tons of blankets, a couple of heated blankets, space heaters, games books and even some workout equipment! This place had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The hot tub was very clean. Hot water lasted a long time so everyone could take a shower. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer. The living room furniture was so comfortable. Close to the strip and tons of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in South Lake Tahoe for my birthday. The house is well-located and secluded, with a very accommodating host who let us check in early. However, the property needs some attention: the deck was covered in pine needles, the carpet was dirty, and the WiFi was unreliable. The stairs to the bedroom were tricky, and the bed was small. Some fixtures, like the soap dispensers and blinds, didn't work properly. Despite these issues, the kitchen, jacuzzi, and grill were in good condition. While we appreciated the host's responsiveness, we might choose a different place next time.
My husband and I spent our 9 day honeymoon in this perfect little cabin. The host was always very reachable and responded right away with any questions. The location is perfect for walking to the lake, meals, and even enjoying farmers market only 50 yards away if you happen to be there on a Friday evening. We 100% plan to book this listing in the future : ) If I had to make one suggestion, it would only be that a full length mirror somewhere in the cabin would be nice dressy evenings out, but obviously not all that important. Thanks!

Lisa and her husband were excellent guests. Easy to communicate with and took great care of the home. Highly recommend.
The location was convenient for both walking to the Heavenly shuttle pick up for skiing and down to the waterfront for views and dining. It’s also not a bad walk to Stateline either, as long as the sidewalks and roads are clear. The hot tub was definitely one of the highlights of the amenities. Positioning of space heaters was critical to comfort for the first few nights, then things warmed up a bit and it wasn’t such a big deal. The steps to the loft are steep and not great for middle of the night wakings or bathroom trips, so be extra cautious. The battery powered devices were a bit of a nuisance, as both soap dispensers died on us before and during the stay and several LED lights were out. The property managers were very responsive with replacements though.
In general property is as advertised. Several issues I would note, however. Its rather a dark cabin with only one main overhead light in the living room. Also, it was chilly in Tahoe even though its mid June. The heating was very irregular with several space heaters available. Often, when it was warm downstairs it became way too hot in the loft and vice versa. Baseboard heaters would be better. Also, is a bit treacherous climbing the steep stairs to/from the loft in the dark.

We are very sorry the heaters took a while to heat up the home due to the extreme cold. We will be setting the heaters to a higher temperature during vacancies to reduce this issue. We have also provided firewood for the property to help speed up heating on the first day of arrivals.
The reason circuit breakers tripped was because you requested 5 additional portable heaters. We explained to your husband that circuit breakers may trip and showed him where the breakers were located. We will remove the excessive portable heaters as we do not believe this small home requires that many heaters.

Not quite what was expected in Tahoe
The house is in a nice area. The house doesn’t have central heat or a wood burning fireplace as advertised instead space heaters and a small gas stove fireplace to heat the house. It is hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. The stairs to the bedroom remind me of stairs in an ancient sailing ship. Super steep and not evenly spaced. The hot tub was nice but only 4 cheap towels were provided. Nice deck but no deck Funiture. We have done a lot of VRBO homes this one is lacking the finer details and should be more accurate with the description.
We stayed here for our first anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves and definitely would stay there again. It is in a great location close to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. There were only a few things that were a bit strange, there were only 4 towels in the entire place that we could find, and they were older and mismatched white towels, the other thing was there were no tissues that we could find in the house either. Beyond that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to another couple :).
This place was perfect for our short Tahoe getaway. We were able to bring our dog and enjoy all the dog-friendly activities the Tahoe area has. Great location right off of Pioneer Trail and Ski Run Blvd. The location is walking distance to several restaurants.
I cannot recommend this location enough. There were only three of us, myself and my two boys (9 & 12), and this home was the perfect size for the three of us. This is the first time EVER that I've had a pull-out mattress that was actually comfortable enough to sleep on and neither of my kids complained even once. The upstairs room was great for one person, and the bed was incredibly comfortable (dare I say even better than my bed at home... I should have looked at what it was!). Everything was extremely clean, well taken care of, and I felt at home our entire stay. We had a difficult time getting the door codes to work, but the owner immediately responded to my texts to assist. We were able to walk to various places, which cut down on the need to drive (and deal with parking), which was a huge plus. There was a LOT of construction going on while we were there, and at one point we got blocked into the driveway by a dumptruck and had to head out on foot, but luckily we were close enough to do so. I have zero complaints, and if we end up going to Tahoe again we will absolutely stay here again.
