Come experience Fern Holler!
PLEASE NOTE:
-NO ATVS INCLUDING 4 WHEELERS AND DIRT BIKES, FIREARMS, OR FIREWORKS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY FOR ANY REASON UNLESS APPROVED BY THE OWNER.
-The Barn has a set of narrow stairs leading up to the loft bedroom. This may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.
-The Glamper sleeps 6 comfortably or up to 8 if the dinette and couch are converted.
IT DOES COST AN ADDITIONAL $100/NIGHT PLUS A $75 CLEANING FEE.
If you rent only the Barn then the Glamper will remain locked and unattended during your stay.
This is a fully private 12 acre property with everything you need to get away and spend quality time with your loved ones!
The Barn and Glamper are situated across from each other, separated by a large field that is perfect for chasing fireflies or watching the puppies get their zoomies out.
The Barn has a tile floor on the main level, laminate wood flooring up top and a patina tin ceiling throughout. There is a handmade live edge bar for dining and It even has an attached laundry room!
On rainy days, enjoy the 55 inch TV with a PlayStation 3 and a 4K Apple TV with high speed WiFi in the living room or the flat screen with a Roku upstairs from the adjustable Queen bed. There are also books and board games or you can watch the hummingbirds fly outside the window from the comfort of an oversized couch. For some Glamping vibes you can listen to the rain hitting the tin roof from the covered swing or hot tub just outside your door. NOTE: A new shower/tub combo has replaced the previous cast iron tub for your convenience.
The A.C. units on both levels are cold and the beds, an adjustable queen and two twins upstairs, are comfortable with all new linens.
Outside the Barn is a full size volleyball net and playground. Both the Barn and Glamper has its own charcoal grill, hammock and picnic table, and fire ring with 4 custom Adirondack chairs. (Firewood, charcoal and lighter fluid are provided as well as chair pads).
Additional outdoor toys are available in the laundry room including a glow in the dark badminton set, corn hole, and a kickball).
Four long range walkie talkies as well as a Monster Glo Bluetooth speaker are provided for your stay.
At the Glamper, you can enjoy the attached deck and porch swing with a private view into the woods. Inside, there is a Roku 4 for streaming, a dvd player, and entertainment center for the living room and bedroom that is capable of playing music inside and/or outside. There is also a full kitchen, dining area, and bathroom with a shower/tub. The back bedroom has 4 bunk beds and a flat screen tv with a Roku 4 as well as a Nintendo 64 with games for all you retro gamers!
-For extra guests the couch can convert to another bed making the Glamper capable of sleeping up to 7!
There are no neighbors in sight, only the songbirds enjoying the suspended bird feeder cable in the field the the occational owls chatting throughout the day and night.
(Check out the pictures for other potential visitors passing through).
-This part of the woods loses power often, but not Fern Holler! The 18kw generator ensures that you never lose power during your stay in the boonies!
Try and find the two silly tree faces! One is next to the “reading nook” where you can watch the creek pass by. The other is next to one of the winding paths, which leads you to the Island, a beautiful, shady oasis and the perfect place to splash around!.
For all of you looking to get into nature but not sure where to hike, there is a family sized walking trail that starts at the Glamper and finishes on the other side of the field via a moderate hike to the top of the property line and back.
-THIS HIKE IS NOT FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES. It is however marked by colorful tape that helps you stay on track.
NOTE-pets are allowed with an extra $25 non-refundable deposit.
Please-no pets on the beds and clean up after them as you normally would.
We can't wait to host you at Fern Holler!

Why they chose this property
Why this property?
You can breathe here.
You can star gaze and watch the kids run and play and splash without leaving the hot tub or the porch swing. You can catch up on life while roasting marshmallows around the fire or just enjoy the songbirds and hummingbirds zinging past.
You can do you, that's why.
