Our stay on Cane Creek was brief but excellent. We enjoyed speaking wiith Roger, who was helpful with the place and local suggestions. We'd definitely go back!
We had a wonderful stay here . We loved how great Roger and Kathleen were . The animals were a plus . We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again .
The most peaceful place in Tennessee. The owner was a was knowledgeable and welcoming. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back again soon. Beautiful scenery.... chef's kiss... perfect getaway to reconnect and recharge.
Relaxing stay on a regeneratively-run working farm
Clean, comfortable, and idyllic farm location situated amongst a Mennonite community. Our host, Roger, was kind, respectful, and generous with his time with us. We learned a lot of useful information and had a very nice stay. We were also able to buy farm fresh eggs that were some of the absolute best we ever had!
As last time, amazing stop on our way back to Chicago and planning to have a longer stay soon. Hosts are wonderful people and very accommodating to special needs people like me. Please treat this place as your own for future guests enjoyment.
If you are looking for luxurious accommodations with hugh flulfy beds then you need to look elsewhere. However if you want just a quiet place to rest and relax you will will find it here!!
The property manager couldn't have been better. He helped us in with our luggage and showed us around the little cottage. We hade a great stay!!
Peaceful little cabin on a farm. After the first day or two we didn't find the roads so intimidating. It was the closest we could find to our son (9 miles). The host was very pleasant and the animals offered entertainment.
The owner was so nice, and helped tremendously. He came to help my husband set up the TV in the bedroom for me i lay down alot to watch TV. I have emphysema. We lived just sitting on the porch and watching the animals. We had tickets to see Conway and Lynn at Lorretta Lynns ranch, it is not far from there. The best weekend we've had in a long time. So peaceful. We would give him 10 stars on all of them if we could.
This was our second stay here at the guest house. The owner is very welcoming and is the definition of southern hospitality. The house was very clean and had everthing we needed for our stay. He let us help ourselves to his vine of delicious muscidine grapes. My son really enjoyed the cows, goats and Borris the bull.
We set up a canoe trip down the buffalo river with crazy horse canoe rentals on the first day and spent our remaining days catching smallmouth bass in the beautiful cane creek, which is a simple walk down the driveway.
We created many family memories here on the past 2 visits and look forward to doing it again next year.
If you are looking for a peaceful, scenic, place to stay. It doesnt get much better than this
Super immaculate clean, new furniture, low fragance washed sheets, quiet, safe, super beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Comfy bed and futon. We loved walking outside the home and enjoy all the farm animals. Host accommodates chemical sensitive people like me/MCS. Also low fragance soaps. Host greets you -keeping social distance because covid- and talks to you making sure you will have a good stay. We will repeat our stay on our way back from Alabama. Please treat the place as your own and fragance free so future guests can enjoy place, too.
We repeat our stay at Roger's every year. It is always clean, quiet, and we know we will be well taken care of by him and his wife. He is more than just a host, he is so friendly and caring giving the best of him. We will continue staying at his place.
