BY ROAD:
Take the A43 motorway to Albertville, then the RN90 dual carriageway to Moûtiers. Follow the D117 for 37 kilometres to reach Val Thorens.

BY TRAIN:
Val Thorens is one of the best-connected resorts in the Alps by train, with direct rail services available from Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, and cities like Grenoble and Lyon.
You can reach Moûtiers from Paris by TGV in under 5 hours or travel from London to Bourg St Maurice on the direct Eurostar ski train in just over 8 hours, day or night. Daily trains, including TGV, Eurostar, and Thalys, arrive in Moûtiers every day. The nearest train station is Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains. From Moûtiers station, bus service is available via regular coach lines. This is the Altibus line (45-minute journey).
