Beautiful home with lots of space. Heated pool was perfect. Owner went out of his way to offer suggestions for our trip and even stocked the house with fruit, milk, and other snacks for our kids.

Great stay in villa tallec. Pierre is easy to get in touch with, the firm beds are comfy, and the home comes with every amenity this American needs (re: air conditioning). Great for a group!

This is the perfect place for a small group to enjoy the island together. It’s the perfect jumping off spot for day trips, ideally situated. The property is exactly as pictured in the photos and very well appointed. It has everything you’ll need for your stay. The host was wonderful to deal with and took very good care of us. we would not hesitate to recommend and would certainly come back.

Lovely home at the end of the street. Quiet except for sound of nearby ocean waves. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. And easy to get to the other parts of the island. Great central location. The host was incredibly responsive when we had many travel hiccups and very accommodating. Would come back if ever return to Azores

Me, my husband, adult children and their partners (total of 8 adults) stayed at this house in September for one week. We had a fantastic experience. The house was clean and well appointed with plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed cooking at the house most nights due to the size of our group. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a charcoal BBQ available.We enjoyed dining al fresco on the patio. The pool and patio was a highlight for us.Pierre was our contact person and was extremely helpful and pleasant. We had some travel glitches and he was very accommodating. Per Pierre’s recommendation, we hired Chef Dalit to cook a special meal at the house. It was a wonderful night and she created a delicious meal and atmosphere. The island is beautiful and there many places to hike and beaches to enjoy. I would recommend staying at this property. Most attractions are an hour or less drive. Airport is approx 30 minute drive.Hints; hire a rental car to get around. Pingo doce is the local grocery storeEnjoy the pool!Black whale resertaunt

Our stay at the Ribeira das Tainhas was nothing short of excellent. From the beginning we had excellent communications with the host, Pierre. During our stay he helped in arranging in house massage, chartering a private boat and searching for a private chef. The house was child friendly, and we made use of the beautiful pool daily. Upon arrival, Pierre, had cheese, bread, fruit and a bottle of wine to welcome us. It was greatly appreciated after a long travel day. We were able to arrange early check in and with toddlers, and this was greatly appreciated. Most major sites to visit are within a 30 minute drive with the longest being an hour away. There are beaches close by and a great boardwalk for running or strolling. The supermarket and ATMs are close by and easily accessible. Pierre ensured that everything we wanted was accessible and as a result we had an unforgettable family vacation for my wife, myself, our children and grandchildren. We will be forever grateful for our time spent in Sao Miguel and choosing this property.

My wife and I, along with our three adult children and their mates spent a spectacular week at Vila Tallec. This is a beautiful, modern home with lovely furnishings and art and plenty of space to spread out. There are balconies off several of the bedrooms providing gorgeous views of the surroundings. Our "kids" loved the fantastic deck area and pool and we spent late afternoons reading and relaxing there. We frequently ate our lunches out and had wonderful late dinners in the outdoor dining area. There is also a large dining area indoors perfect for hanging out and playing cards, etc.Our host, Pierre, could not have been more accomodating and was a pleasure to interact with. The vila is located centrally, on the south coast and is a perfect jumping off place to visit any place on the island. This is a perfect place for a large group to relax and enjoy the island.

Staying at Vila Tallec was a dream. The home is stunning, has all of the amenities you could imagine, and is extremely private. Combined with the location and views from the home of the island and surrounding areas, you’ll never want to leave. The home is comfortable no matter the weather. There is air conditioning or ample doors and windows for airflow. The kitchen and barbecue were exceptional and allowed us flexibility whether we wanted to eat at home or out. The pool is heated and perfect to swim at any hour and in almost all weather. The rooms are comfortable and private, with large closets and walk-ins, balconies, and so many bathrooms we almost didn’t need to share. Pierre provided a level of hospitality that neither myself nor my guests have ever experienced. He went to great lengths to provide an onsite massage therapist, and worked tirelessly to locate a private chef that could accommodate my food allergies. Whatever we needed, Pierre always provided, from activities, to restaurants, to nightlife. A large part of why we had such an amazing two weeks at this villa is because of our exceptional host.Pierre’s generosity and kindness is unmatched. I would not hesitate to stay at a property that he manages.

Notre séjour à Villa Tallec a vraiment été parfait sur toute la ligne. Nous étions 8 personnes, 4 grands-parents, deux adultes et deux adolescents et tout le monde y a trouvé son compte. La maison est vaste et la piscine extérieure et les installations nous ont fait passer de magnifiques moments à tous les points de vue. Le propriétaire nous a bien guidé dans des choix de restaurants à proximité. La maison est très bien située, près d'une épicerie et de la marina. La cuisine est très bien équipée avec toutes les commodités. L'air climatisée était bien apprécié même si la brise à toute heure du jour est plus que parfaite. On y retournerait sans hésiter!

Semaine à Sao Miguel!

Séjour très sympathique. Nous étions une famille avec jeunes enfants, et la cuisine était très bien équipée pour cuisiner nos repas!La piscine chauffée fut très agréable, le mois de Mai peu être frais et nous avons pu en profiter d’avantage. Un séjour relaxant, avec couché au son des vagues.
