Probably the nicest holiday home view we ever had

We spent a very nice week in Haus Sonneck, enjoyed breakfasts and barbecues on a well accomodated terras with probably the nicest view we ever had at a holiday rental. The house is charming, decorated and maintained with respect for originality, all necessary support available and functional. The location is splendid for walking and visiting villages. Really a place to recommend and to return to in the future

Sehr dreckig und zu klein für die angegebene Personenzahl, Achtung mit nachträglichen Zuschlägen

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von dem Haus. Und dem Vermieter. Im Haus war alles voller Spinnweben und Staub (Achtung an Hausstauballergiker, zwei von uns haben das deutlich gemerkt). Im Waschraum war ein Leck und es roch muffig. Fenster im Wohnzimmer schließen nicht richtig. Der Vermieter hatte nach der Buchungsanfrage über das Portal noch nachgekartet und gemeint, dass die gestiegenen Energiekosten / Inflation es notwendig machen, nochmal den Preis zu erhöhen. Vor Ort haben wir erfahren, dass das wohl regelmäßig seine Masche ist. Das Haus wird für 8 Personen angepriesen, aber der Schlafbereich ist äußerst klein teilweise ausgelegt und am Esstisch passen nur 6 Personen hin. Die Wohnung ist im Essbereich eher sehr altbackener und abgewohnter 50-er Stil. Der Preis ist aus meiner Sicht völlig überzogen für das was hinterher die Leistung war. Auf anderen Portalen waren übrigens ganz andere Preis für dasselbe Haus, haben wir im Nachhinein festgestellt.

Great place for a wonderful Christmas - Most probably a very nice place for summer vacation too

Wonderful chalet - nice spot over Schruns with amazing view! ideal location for enjoying skiing (less than 30mn drive to Montafon ski resort) but also nice walkings around.... just be prepared, it is rather steep.... The chalet is very well equiped and very nice decorated. We just loved it and our vacation have just been a dream. Martha was really very nice and helpful.... except for the tv.... would really be nice to have very clear instruction / operative memorandum!!! a big thank you to Jan's father who picked up the phone wenn needed!!! I am sure it would hjave been great to share a bier or a piece of christmas cake with him! A big thank you from Corinne, Laurent Claire Laure Vincent Arthur !!!MFG

Perfekter Skiurlaub

Mittelpunkt dieses Hauses ist das Wohnzimmer mit Ofen, Fensterbank, Panoramafenster, gemütlichen Sesseln und auch Essbereich so dass die ganze Familie zusammen sein kann ohne dass es zu eng wird und auch jeder „seins“ machen kann ....lesen, chillen, computern, essen...einfach nur den Sonnenaufgang, einen Schneesturm oder die Nachtlichter betrachten...alle hat es hier immer wieder hier hingezogen....das Haus wird vor allem mit Holz geheizt und das Holen und Anfeuern hat uns in unsere Kindheit zurückversetzt. Dank Fussbodenheizung und Elektroheizkörper ist es angenehm warm...der Vorraum war für unsere Sammlung von Skiklamotten ebenfalls perfekt. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wunderschönes Urlaubsdomizil mit Panoramablick

Sehr freundlich empfangen von Frau Frei fanden wir am Bartolomäberg ein Ferienhaus vor, das die Erwartungen, welche die Bilder und Bewertungen im Vorfeld machten, sogar noch übertrafen. Sehr gepflegt, geräumig und bestens ausgestattet punktet das Haus in allen Belangen. Aufgrund der 4 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer können sich mühelos 8 Leute wohlfühlen und entspannen. Für eine wohlige Wärme sorgen der Ofen sowie die Fußboden- und elektrische Standheizungen. Platz finden mehr als 4 Autos, Hobbyutensilien können problemlos in der Garage zwischengelagert werden. Ein Bus bringt die Urlauber in kürzester Zeit ins Stadtzentrum, dem Hochjoch oder dem Zamang-Lift. Für Fragen steht Frau Frei immer sehr hilfsbereit zur Verfügung. Insgesamt ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in das wir gerne wieder zurückkehren, vielleicht im nächsten Skiurlaub.

Great place and very helpful people

Panoramastraße lives up to its name, except when it rains. We had mixed weather, as you must expect in the mountains, which didn’t spoil things at all. In winter this is ski territory so summer, when we were there, is off-peak, but there is plenty to do. You are at 1100 metres: Schruns, which has shops and restaurants and a funicular and trains, and a small market on Thursdays, is a kilometre away, but half of that is vertical so it’s actually four kilometres by road. The bus to Schruns stops outside the house but as it happened a temporary road closure made it no good to us. However, ten minutes level walk away is the Bärger Lädili (Austrian German is a wonderful but sometimes puzzling thing), an excellent village shop and café. This will supply most things, including good bread and largely local vegetables, sausage and honey. A little farther on is a hotel with a good restaurant, of the usual Austrian type but unproblematic for vegetarians. The church is a minor Baroque masterpiece inside. The house is well equipped (if there is an iron, we didn’t find it), although it may take a while to work out how to plug the washing machine in. I also had to resort to Google (good wifi, code on router) to find out how the induction hob works, but it’s quite simple really. You press the on button for a few seconds first. The view of the Rätikon is simply spectacular and unless you are strong-minded you will spend quite a lot of time just looking at it. If you are strong-minded there is plenty of good walking nearby. Be prepared for thunderstorms, and learn how to say “goedemorgen” because for some reason most of the foreign visitors here are Dutch. Bludenz, twenty minutes by train from Schruns, is a pleasant larger town but remarkable mainly for smelling of chocolate (there is a Milka factory shop there). Bregenz and Lake Constance are easily reached by car or train: Vaduz, in Liechtenstein, though nearer, is fractionally harder to reach, but we do recommend the modern art gallery. Zurich and Innsbruck are further away than you think. The practicalities all worked well. The owners had changed their plans slightly to accommodate ours, which were inflexible: many thanks! Local support came from an agent/housekeeper in Bludenz: a phone call to her quickly resolved the only minor problem we encountered (a tripped fuse). We didn’t test her English but we are sure she would have coped if we hadn’t spoken German. Overall, completely satisfactory.

Sfeervol huis met prachtig uitzicht

Sfeervol echt Oostenrijks huis! De veranda-achtige ruimte met kachel is geweldig. Hebben we veel avonden doorgebracht. Prachtige ligging en uitzicht en mooi groot terras. De omheinde tuin was ideaal met de honden. Goed geoutilleerd wat keukenspullen betreft. Fijn voor het koken. Tweede badkamer is wat klein. Niet gebruikt. Huiskamer leek ons wat klein en vol als je echt met 8 personen bent. Fijn dat er zo regelmatig bussen rijden en dat de halte zo dicht bij het huis is. Kortom, we hebben genoten!

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Es gibt einfach nichts zu meckern. Die Umgebung ist ein Traum. Man kann in der Umgebung wahnsinnig viel unternehmen, Langeweile kommt dabei definitiv nicht auf. Wanderwege sind in verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsgraden ausgezeichnet und wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist, kann fast jeder Berg mit einer Gondelfahrt erreicht werden. An dem Haus gibt es auch überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Alles was benötigt wird ist vorhanden. Der Ausblick vom Haus aus ist wirklich traumhaft. Auch für Kinder oder vielmehr für die Kinder war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Vormittags in die Berge und Nachmittags ins Freibad oder in die Bürser Schlucht zum baden. Man kann Bartholomäberg einfach nur empfehlen.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit toller Aussicht

Ich kann über das Haus nichts negatives sagen. Die Küche ist mehr als ausreichend ausgestattet, die Bäder/Toiletten sind sauber und funktional und der Wohnbereich ist supergemütlich.Für Wintersportler wäre eine Skischuhheizung und Gestell für die Skier wünschenswert. Wir mussten die Skischuhe zum trocknen in den Wohnraum stellen. Führt aber zu keinem Abzug bei der Bewertung.

Super Lage, Traumblick

Ein schöner Urlaub in einem schönen Haus. Die Terrasse und insbesondere der Blick davon ist einentlich nicht zu übertreffen. Das Haus ist zwar schon älter aber gut in Schuss. Alles wichtige ist vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Geweldig familie huis

Vakantiewoning ligt op 1100 meter hoogte in het dorp Bartholomaberg. Het uitzicht over het dal is prachtig. De woning is uitermate geschikt voor 2 gezinnen met jonge kinderen (lagere school). In totaal zijn er 8 slaapplaatsen. Zeer gezellige woonkamer, nette slaapkamers met prima bedden, recent gerenoveerde badkamer. Op de begaande grond is een extra toilet en doucheruimte. Huis beschikt tevens over een vaatwasmachine, wasmachine en droger. De woning heeft geen centrale verwarming. De kamers moeten warm worden gehouden met elektrische kachels. Dit gaat prima. Daarnaast is er een centrale houtkachel welke de woonkamer verwarmt. Afstand tot skigebieden is 10 minuten. Eigenaar en huishoudelijk hulp zijn zeer hartelijk en behulpzaam. Wij hebben een heerlijke week in Silvretta Montafon gehad.

Gemütliche Hütte mit tollem Panorama

Ein uriges Haus mit 2 großen Doppelbett Zimmern, 1 Kinderzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten, und 1 kleineres Doppelzimmer so dass bis zu 6 Erwachsene plus 2 Kinder Platz haben. Die Terrasse und der Garten sind toll zum sich sonnen und für Schneeballschlachten. Die Sitzecke ist gemütlich (nur ein Durchbruch zur Küche wäre sehr praktisch, damit man nicht alles hin- und her tragen muss). Das Heizungssystem ist nicht das modernste, da das Haus hauptsächlich mit einem großen, alten Kachelofen geheizt wird. Gerade morgens ist es im Wohn-Essraum ganz schön frisch, bis der Ofen wieder ordentlich läuft. Zum Skigebiet in Schruns braucht man mit dem Auto nur 12 Minuten.

Traumhafter Ausblick auf den Rätikon!

Wunderbares Haus in ausgezeichneter Lage, mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Von außen mag es klein wirken, doch wir, 4 Erwachsene mit 4 Kindern, hatten genügend Platz. Es wurde drinnen einiges renoviert, Böden, Bäder, Küche, aber ohne den Charakter dieses schönen Häuschens zu zerstören. Einziges Manko war, dass es im Aussenbereich nicht genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten für 8 Personen gab, was aber zu verkraften war, da die Kinder sowieso herumtollen statt sitzen wollten.

De belles vacances !

Nous avons trouvé une maison très propre et bien équipée. Elle est très bien située : la vue est magnifique et très ensoleillée. Un arrêt de bus très proche ainsi qu'une épicerie et une aire de jeu pour les enfants...
