About this property

Beautiful Beachfront Home on Lighthouse Beach

This beautiful home is located on a bluff overlooking Lighthouse Beach. It offers a 180-degree vista of the lighthouse, beach and Coos Bay jetty. The 2000 square foot house has private beach access. Each room offers an ocean view.

There is a private stairway to the beach exclusively for our renters. Without public stairs, Lighthouse Beach is difficult to access, making it the ideal destination for a quiet getaway. It is a large sandy beach, with plenty of surf for boarders, wood for bonfires, and tide pools teeming with ocean life. There is something here for everyone in your family! And for those less adventuresome, you can enjoy watching boats crossing the bar and pelicans fishing without setting foot outside.

Our home is walking distance from Shore Acres State Park with botanical gardens, which boasts some of the state’s most beautiful walks along ocean cliffs. During high tides, the surf crashing against the rocks and the resultant spray is one of nature’s spectacular displays. The home is also in close proximity to Sunset Bay, which offers wonderful tidepooling, swimming, and sea kayaking. And for golfers, we’re just a 30-minute drive from world-renowned Bandon Dunes courses!

It didnt have on the site that there was no AC. You had to open the door and widows no screen on door so flies got in. No over head lights in bedroom. Pans look little new but stuck the food bad. No blinds on the big windows so neighbors can see in and a glare on the T.V. so you had to wait till sun went down to watch it. But the view was beautiful.

Our family of 5 stayed here in June including 3 kids ages 6-10 and I can't tell you enough how wonderful this home and location was. We spent hours each day at low tide, exploring tide pools and swimming in the ocean. Each night, we watched the sunset and pelicans. The home has everything we needed and was so well kept up and clean! The private stairs to the beach made it accessible and felt like we had the whole beach to our at times. Thank you for the wonderful memories we made here and showing our kids the wonderful coast!

We loved our stay. It was both relaxing and comfortable. The views from the home are spectacular…we loved the view of the lighthouse! We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Perfect little slice of heaven

This beautiful house waa perfect for us. The views were spectacular despite the fog and cooler temps. We had our first whale sighting (for us) in the Cape Arago beach below the house. We will most definitely be back.
