Was really a nice family vacation. Views were beautiful. Neighbor below was a kill joy but despite that we all had a great time. Thank you for letting us stay in your very nice vacation home.
We really enjoyed the house… beautiful view, lots of deer, game room was lots of fun, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and plenty of space for our family.
Great getaway ! House was perfect with everything you can think of you may need.
Gorgeous views and came with a fabulous pan of cinnamon buns!!! Will stay again !
We stayed here for 2 nights and the place was very clean and well furnished with games, firewood, a hot tub etc. The view from the porch was also amazing. The owner was very responsive and helpful as well.
A beautiful spot, the location was spectacular, other than the two mile trail getting to the house it didn’t help that it snowed the night before making it a little interesting getting down the mountain. The only thing I was a little bit sad with the American flag outside. It was very tattered. Being a veteran and a member of a VFW I dispose of it in a the proper way. We all enjoy our stay and it’s a beautiful place.
The location is incredible - views of the mountains and valley are just amazing. The house was very clean and well stocked, with plenty of room. The hosts are awesome - they left us homemade pumpkin roll (delicious!) and a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. If you're looking for a relaxing stay in WV, this is the place!
It was a beautiful home, on the top of a mountain! So relaxing, and a perfect stay for our family. House is as advertised, and well stocked. I might recommend booking during the “on season” if you want to partake in what the smaller towns have to offer, as sone places were closed (but that is no reflection on the property itself).
Beautiful views, deer, fireflies, clean fresh air, and a very nice place to stay with all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Lots to see Seneca Rocks, Black Water Falls, Canaan, but you can chill at the property build a fire and relax too. The drive up is quite an experience too. Four wheel drive would be a gtood thing in good weather too!!!
The host was amazing. Baked is a cake and homemade candy. They responded to every question and were so accommodating. The place had everything we wanted, from a great hottub to pool and fooseball tables. Would definitely stay there again. You do need a four wheel drive car to get there!!
Place was amazing. Wildlife in front yard was awesome. Only down side is floors was noisy so down stairs didn’t sleep when up stairs was awake but other than that it was perfect.
We stayed for a long weekend for our Anniversary. The house was beautiful, very clean and the owners though of everything possible that you might need. The beds were comfortable We loved the game room and hot tub. The view was amazing and the sunset breathtaking. The owners were wonderful and even had a cake waiting when we arrived with music playing. Didnt want the weekend to end and cant wait to go back again!!!Highly..Highly recommend!!!
We stayed here for my younger son's 12th birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time. We were greeted with a delicious chocolate cake provided by the owners to honor his special day. The scenery and the house are beautiful. We had just the right amount of snow to sled on the hill out front. We enjoyed the rest of the amenities and would definitely stay here again!!
The cabin and property are beautiful both inside and out. The spacious cabin came stocked with all kinds of games. Sheila left us a basket of produce from her greenhouse and smore fixins. We spent four glorious days bonding with our adult children and family. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
Beautiful, serene and peaceful. Enjoyed wathcing the deer from the house. The house was clean, well stocked and lovely. Plenty of room , and the hot tub was a plus. The host found out my son was proposing during the stay and they made a Celebration basket for them. Wonderful communication with the host - we will be back!
This property was everything my family needed for a long weekend! Some of us went skiing, while my elderly dad, special needs son and myself (recovering from a major surgery to fight cancer) stayed back and enjoyed the home and views. What a wonderful gift this long weekend was full of beautiful pictures and memories. Thank you!
We arrived at the property and immediately was greeted with stunning scenery. The owners left a tray of goodies for us in the house! We had a beautiful time to escape the city sounds and lights and just enjoy each other’s company and nature. This property goes above and beyond expectations and I highly recommend!
This place is remote, but the beauty from the mountain is breathtaking. Definitely venture out at night to check out the stars. The house is quite clean and cozy. Be sure to shop before you arrive, because there isn't much in the area.
