We welcome you all year round to L'Escapade du Hérisson, a wooden chalet in a warm and family-friendly setting, a 10-minute walk from Lake Chalain and a 10-minute drive from the Cascades du Hérisson waterfalls. The chalet is 100m² and sleeps 2 to 6 people. On the ground floor: a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a beautiful living room with a pellet stove, DVD player, flat-screen TV with USB port; Bedroom 1: 1 double bed; Bedroom 2: 1 bunk bed and a child's desk; bathroom (walk-in shower with hydromassage jets). Upstairs: a mezzanine sleeping area for 2 people with a relaxing lounge area (board games and books). A baby kit is available: travel cot with mattress, baby bath, baby bouncer, high chair, toys, etc. All rooms are very bright and pleasant. For your relaxation, there is a fully renovated covered terrace of 50m², with sun loungers, a dining area, and a barbecue. The adjoining garden is 100m², for the enjoyment of young and old alike. Darts, badminton, and Mölkky are available. There is a secure bike storage area. The village centre is 500m away with all the shops you need for your stay, as well as the Restaurants. The village of Doucier is located in the lake region (Chalain, Ilay, Narlay, Clairvaux, Vouglans, etc.). Wine region: Arbois, Château-Chalon. Cheese region with Poligny, capital of Comté, Morbier. Comté cheese dairy in Doucier. Not forgetting regional products and dishes (Comté/Morbier fondue, Mont d'Or, Morteau sausage). In winter, downhill skiing (35 min), cross-country skiing (20 min), snowshoeing (Saint Laurent, La Chaux du Dombief, Bellefontaine, Les Marais, Domaine des Rousses, Métabief).
