Hosts were very helpful. Beds were comfortable and everything we needed was in the kitchen. We had a resident buck that spent his days bedded down in the side yard.
This cute home in Lead was a great place to stay for our time in the area. Enjoyed the deer that "greeted" us upon arrival. The home is very clean with stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!
Booking the house and communication with the manager was seamless, check in was easy, the house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed. It was the perfect house for our trip.
3 couples enjoying Deadwood over Labor Day weekend! This was a beautiful house and was perfect for the occasion! Very clean! We will consider it in the future if it’s available!!!
House is exactly as pictured. Quaint and comfortable. Kitchen was pleasantly stocked with anything needed for cooking and even extras. The popcorn machine was a hit for game night. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Had a nice relaxing stay. Property is in excellent condition, very cozy and clean. Only negative was no can opener in kitchen and no ironing board. Iron was located in the laundry area but searched the whole house and could not find an ironing board. Loved our stay and would definitely go back.
This property is located in a very hilly, close neighborhood, so when there is snow, the streets can be treacherous. They recommend a four-wheel drive, and that is accurate. The house is very nice.
It was exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Washer and dryer worked well. Very clean. Great Location, close to Deadwood and Central City. Would stay again.
Saw a deer right in front of the house. Kinda cool.
The pictures don't do this place justice! It is beautiful, clean and has a very functional layout maximizing the space. It took about 12 hours to warm up as the heat was at 45 when we arrived, but that would be my only complaint and that is relevant to time of year. Mark communicated well, and I look forward to returning to this property when back in the area!
House was clean, cozy and nicely stocked for our needs. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again just not for a motorcyle trip. The roads are very steep and not very motorcycle friendly leading up to the house. We did end up utilizing the "winter route " that was suggested and found that to be a much easier route leading up to the house.
This house was amazing. Everything was as described in the listing, no surprises. The beds were amazing and allowed for great sleep. The house was clean and they had what we needed. The property owners were always responsive and even accommodating when our schedule changed and we needed to move our booking dates. The house was close to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and other attractions in the area. The towns of Lead and Deadwood were picturesque. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. One feature I especially appreciated was the motion sensor night lights throughout the home. They were a thoughtful touch that made getting around at night easy and safe.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. No issues there at all.One thing to note: the drive up to the house involves some very steep roads. If you're visiting in the winter and snow is in the forecast, this could be a challenge—especially if you're not used to driving in those conditions. I’m from the desert, so I’d personally avoid a winter trip and stick to spring, summer, or fall. But if you're used to snowy roads, you’ll probably be fine.Overall, a great place—I’d stay again outside the snowy months!
What a beautifully updated little house. It worked perfectly for us as it has 3 bedrooms (all upstairs) and 2 full baths (1 up and 1 down). We trailered in Motorcycles and were able to take advantage of the garage for our bikes. There is an alley next to the house or a nice flat area just a block away on the top of the hill, to unload motorcycles or ATV's. Lead is a very hilly area and a lot of one way streets (which google maps does not know about those one way streets) Great neighborhood ! We used the Blackstone for breakfast and a few dinners. We happened to be there during some pretty unseasonable hot weather and just a note there is no a/c unit upstairs where the bedrooms are. The a/c on the main level kept the living room/kitchen/dining really cool but the upstairs was pretty warm to sleep due to the unseasonal weather. There are fans in the bedrooms and we would open up the windows to draw in cooler night air. (Average July high is 82 and it was in the upper 80's to mid 90's when we were there). We loved the central location where we could make day trips all around on all the scenic motorcycle roads! Restaurants in Lead and just a 4 miles drive to Deadwood where there were more to choose from. Great grocery store in Lead too! We did need to access some brief care at the Urgent Care in Deadwood and they were fabulous and got us in and out fast, in case the need would arise for future guests. There is WiFi in the house as well. Mark, the host, was great to work with and easy to communicate with!
This house is a great stay, very clean and looks to be recently updated with interior, redone driveway and patio area. The neighborhood is very quiet, we even saw mule deer walking around! Lead is a very hilly town and driving around is interesting, but there are multiple restaurants and bars close by with a grocery store very near this property. The property manager was very easy to communicate with. The only issue was the upstairs bedrooms were very warm and didn’t have a lot of air circulation in the summer. It’s a redone older home with new windows and there were fans provided in every room to help with this issue, just be aware of this for those hot summer days. Otherwise the property is very nice and clean, great blackstone grill for use as well. Would definitely stay again.
