This 1244 sq ft private oceanside townhome in Kitty Hawk has everything for the extraordinary beach vacation:
- 2 BR, 2.5 Bath, Full Kitchen
- Stunning ocean views from every window and balcony
- Direct beach access
- Resort amenities (pool, tennis, racquetball, basketball, rec room, fitness and more)

This 2 BR beach-themed townhome has everything you need for the summer beach vacation, or the weekend getaway in the spring, fall, and winter. The Master Bedroom features a king bed while the Kids Room provides 2 twin beds. Upstairs in the open area there is a pull out sofa for a fifth guest.

The full kitchen has all the cooking gear you need for home cooked meals, drip coffee maker, and more. If it's chilly, use the fireplace or hot tub! Or stay use one of the three ample flat-screen TVs with cable and streaming (Netflix, Hulu, ESPN, Disney+).

You get multiple balconies with breezy ocean views. We provide beach gear, bikes, tennis equipment, and more.

You'll have access to this entire townhome with a 1-car garage, 2 additional parking spaces in front, and to the resort amenities.

There are very few properties that are so large inside, with 2 bedrooms, so close to the beach, with so many resort amenities that are still so centrally located. The Kitty Hawk Beach here is like no other running so close to the beach road. Nearly half the residents @ Sea Dunes are locals and the others are long term 2nd home owners. A hidden gem on the Outer Banks, there is a waiting list of new owners who want to buy here.

Clearly the sunrise on the balcony over the ocean view cannot be beat. The beach is so close. But there are also many great shops and restaurants in walking distance: John's Drive In and Cap't Franks are Outer Banks institutions; The Black Pelican Oceanfront Restaurant is one of the best on the beach; Barefoot Bernies has live music; and don't forget La Fagota's Mexican, Sanya Sushi, Stack 'em High Pancakes.
Must adhere to resort rules posted in the unit, I can send you a copy on request. They are common-sense rules so that all in the community are happy!
Quiet time after 10PM
Dogs only - NO CATS, $25 / day pet fee
No cooking curry or other heavily spiced dishes - we don't have a spice kitchen and cannot remove the odor from heavily spiced cooking between guests - I will assess a $250 fee through the Resolution Center for the cost of odor removal.
Smoking on the deck permitted, but not inside.
No overcrowding - I will assess a $100 per night fee for each person over the maximum occupancy of 6 through the Airbnb resolution center.

Nice place in a spectacular setting !

After a long drive, it was great to relax in a comfortable, clean setting. Being right across the street from the beach was perfect, and with so many fun things to do and great shops/ restaurants around, it's paradise ! The owners couldn't have been nicer, we can't wait to come back!

We loved the location and it was a great value for the price - being across the street from the beach and walking distance to two great restaurants was perfect for us - beach was not crowded and our neighbors (they owned their condo) were very friendly - would definitely book again!

Perfect getaway spot in OBX

Great unit in a wonderful location. Perfect ocean views from the deck and could not ask for the variety of walkable locations to grab a bite or drink. Unit is clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. Communication was wonderful the entire stay. Beach access was super easy too!

Great location in Kitty Hawk. Close to lots of stuff and not too far from Nags Head. Perfect for family of four. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable.

First time at the outer banks

Everything that you need for the beach was there, boogie boards , umbrellas, chairs bikes etc. The host was very easy to get in touch with and very responsive and friendly. , recommended places to eat and sight see. We had a great time . I would recommend this property to anyonegoing to the outer banks.

Great Location

It's a great location to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. The unit was clean and bug free but is starting to show it's age and in need of some updates. Overall it was a good experience for us and our pet.

Good location

The location and ability to have our dog stay with us was great. The owner was responsive and dropped off missing items that evening. The home itself is in need of repairs and updating. Broken vent covers, door closer and dishwasher racks and ripped couch cushion etc. make it feel neglected. Owner asked for complaints and input though so hopefully things will be fixed and future renters will have a good stay.

Great location but needs a gut job

This neighborhood is one of the best in the OBX however this unit has not aged well. Everything seemed to be on its last leg. The fridge made an awful sound all the time. The fan in the main bedroom was too loud to be used. The couch upstairs looked like it came from a frat house. If it hadn’t been for the location and the closeness to the beach I might have given it a 1 star. I will say the owner was very responsive and let us check in early. But as a family we would choose another property over this one in the future. With a little love this place gets a 5 star

The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the short walk to the ocean. The bicycles (4) that were listed for our use all had flat tires. One tire even came off the rim when we tried to move the bike. The bike pump that was provided did not work. That was a disappointment, because we would have enjoyed biking in the area. The appliances could use a bit of an update too.

The property is very old and shows its wear. Large "water bug" that I thought was a roach crawled out from behind the stove on night one. Contact the host immediately that night and did not hear back until the next morning after second message. Internet out for two days. Two flights of 13csteps each, very steep and not listed on description. This is not dog friendly. I rented a dog crate only to find one in the garage when we arrived. Again not listed. Many issues..loose floor outlet cover, broken floor vent cover, large open hole in bath tub when overflow cover should be, door closer off door to deck and kaying on table, electric cord to fireplace attached under fireplace door to inside fireplace, upholstery on couch and outdoor furniture cushions torn, zippers broken and dirty. Very stressful "vacation"

Beautiful location and fantastic overall experience

Really great stay in OBX at this property. The location was excellent, the beach is a short walk away, the neighbors were friendly and it was ideal for bringing our dog with us. Dave is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful and the property was very comfortable and clean. Very close to a lot of shops and restaurants but also on the beach side gives a relaxing experience.

The location of this rental is what makes it a 5 star rating. Every day, we sat on the balcony and watched the waves roll in. And since it's just a short walk to the beach, we took advantage of that daily as well.

I grew up in the Outer Banks in the 70s and 80s working in the hospitality industry starting at age 12. Since 1990 I have lived elsewhere as an international technology executive and volunteer minister. I've worked and vacationed all over the world but still come back home to my favorite beach.

I love to introduce people to my home town and think it is the best place for a relaxed family vacation. I want to help you any way I can by giving you the best property and expert recommendations from nearly 50 years of OBX experiences. Just ask me to help in any way to have the best vacation and I will do my best!

My goal in life is to "retire" to the OBX and recreate the Anchorage Motel & Cottages my parents owned and operated from 1972-2004 as a "virtual resort" by renting some of the best, affordable, family-oriented properties on the OBX.

We keep the property in good shape, comfortable, with all the supplies you need to have a great summer beach week (or weekend in the spring or fall).
