Swan Mntn View--Entire, Private Basement Suite, Close to GNP, Whitefish & Lake.
Just in time for Snow Skiing Whitefish Mountain! Glacier National Park is only 30 minutes away and Flathead Lake is a 20 minute drive :-) Enjoy your vacation in this spacious and serene space. An entire basement suite with new bedroom (VERY comfortable pillowtop queen matress), bathroom, study, living room and kitchenette. 10 acre horse property with incredible views of the Swan Mountains. Beautiful private large deck and grill and a fire pit on the property. It is a very nicely done finished basement. Very warm and comfortable in the winter and very nice and cool in the summer. The property has been described by many as looking like a park! Lots of trees and wildlife even though I'm so close to town. And having my horse Jasper on the property is just icing on the cake!! Pets are welcome! ($10 per pet per night) For some reason I'm getting feedback that somewhere on my site it says only one dog...that is not true. It is $10 PER PET/PER NIGHT SO MORE THAN ONE PET IS FINE. ANY SIZE OF DOG IS ALSO FINE. No childen under 16 allowed.

This quiet country retreat was the perfect place to start and end our days while visiting the Glacier, Whitefish, Flathead Lake areas. Alicia and her family of pets were great hosts!
Alicia's place is in a great location near many attractions with quick access to a new adventure each day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and getting an opportunity to chat with Alicia at check in was delightful.
We are already looking forward to returning in the future.
The location of this property is a vacation on its own. Beautiful surroundings and outdoor space.
We had spent a night at Quinns Hot Springs
and wanted a place near Glacier National Park. The location of Alicia's place is perfect for visiting the park, Kalispell or Whitefish. Clean and comfortable, Alicia has thought of everything you'll need.

Alicia and accommodations were great. Fun staying out in the country a bit; but an easy 35 min drive to Glacier. Hope to return!

The host was extremely helpful and answered many questions about the area and Glacier National Park. The accommodations were spacious as we had the whole basement (more area than a hotel). We certainly enjoyed the stay immensely. In addition, we enjoyed conversing with the host.
The place was beautiful, convenient to restaurants, gas, stores, and sites to see: Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse Reservoir, Rafting, and many other places. Alicia was great host. Loved her cat Mason, and dog Birdie. Mason let us pet and hold her. We have 3 cats, so we enjoyed petting Mason. The home/basement along with property was beautiful and peaceful.
Thank you.

A Slice of Paradise Orchestrated by a Wonderful Host
I came to visit my terminally ill brother and to be able to work remotely. A wonderfully positive host greeted me, ensuring I had everything I needed. The Office Space is ideal and large enough to get your work done. Wifi is optimal as well. But the best part is coming here after visiting my brother and feeling the silence, seeing the fields and forests, watching the beautiful horse making its way through paradise. It eased the sadness of my brother's condition and gave me the realization that life should be enjoyed and not squandered. Part of that enjoyment is to connect with the gifts of the outdoors around you. This place and its wonderful host is truly that Godsent gift.
Such a cute stay and we enjoyed every second! We came to Montana to go to Glacier National Park and this place was great. The 30 minute drive felt super short, and the drive there was so pretty! We loved the super comfy bed and we were able to go out to the fire pit on the last night and roast some marshmallows! Everything was amazing!:)
Alicia’s place is located approximately 30 miles from West Glacier. Thanks to our host’s information, we were able to enter Glacier NP without a vehicle reservation, which was impossible to get. We drove to the park entrance at 5AM and waited at the gate in a relatively short line of vehicles until the park was opened at 6AM.
The apartment is in the basement of Alicia’s house and a quiet place that shows the host’s personality with a lot of attention to detail. It should be mentioned though that it is a one-bedroom place! Three or four persons can only stay there if two of them agree to sleep either on a couch or on an air mattress - not a problem for a family. However, it could become an issue for a group of friends who travel together. Just sayin’…!
This place is everything you need when on a vacation. Great location, beautiful yard. Alicia makes you feel very comfortable. I felt like I was at home.
Thank you Alicia
Alicia is a great host and made us feel at home! My husband and I had an excellent time staying here as we visited over the Christmas week. beautiful surroundings !I hope to come back again, maybe in the summer!
This place is exactly as advertised. Alicia is a great host, very friendly and helpful. Her place is cute, clean, and quiet. The property is beautiful, and perfect for your dogs.
It was so nice to find a host who allows multiple dogs to join you on your trip.
The property feels like a perfect country setting, but is close enough to town that you can also order DoorDash and Uber eats if you’re looking for a cozy “stay-in” kind of day.

About the host
Hosted by Alicia Gower
I moved to Montana 5 years ago from Fredericksburg, Virginia (one hour south of Washington DC). I just love it here and am really grateful to live in the Valley but on 10 acres of tree'd property. I love to hike, ski, horseback ride, snow shoe, sail, swim, and kayak! So much to do here! I am a retired videographer but get an occasional gig from time to time.
Why they chose this property
It's nice to live in the valley where in the winter, the roads are plowed and you don't have to travel hills to get home! Because of all my trees, it feels much cooler here in the summer and is VERY protected in the winter. My street is not a cut through so it is very private and with little car traffic. Did I mention we are only 10 minutes from Glacier International Airport! Very convenient indeed!
What makes this property unique
10 minutes to Glacier International Airport 30 minutes to Glacier National Park 20 minutes Whitefish, Bigfork, and Lakeside/Somers 15 minutes to Columbia Falls 10 minutes to downtown Kalispell 1 hour to Canada!
