At the front of the building (439), there are lockboxes mounted on the wall labeled with each apartment number. You will open the lockbox assigned to your unit to retrieve the keyfob for the main entrance. A personal door code will be provided for your apartment.

The apartment is located on the second floor (stairs only). No elevator in the building.

This stay was perfect for what we needed but what really made it amazing were the hosts. They were very responsive and helpful. We had a change of plans for our last day and they were very flexible with us. Would recommend
Not in a good location. Very moldy/mildewy smell inside. Outside of door smelled like urine, just generally not well kept. Instructions to check in the front gate were insufficient. In general, not recommended.
Unfortunately we were unable to get into the property. The host did respond quickly, but it’s not a great location and it was in the middle of the night. Our uber driver even advised us to not walk around that area whatsoever. We had to get another uber and walk the streets of south beach looking for a hotel that would let us spend the night. Complete nightmare. Hoping for a refund, but haven’t heard back.

It is important to clarify that your arrival took place in the middle of the night and without prior notice, which made the check-in process more difficult. Even so, understanding that unexpected situations may occur during travel, we responded immediately and, in good faith, provided a full refund, even though the issue was not attributable to the property.
The unit was in perfect condition, and access instructions had been shared in advance. The listing also clearly states the safety recommendations regarding moving around late at night. We respect that every guest may perceive the neighborhood differently, although we have never had reported safety incidents.
We believe it is unfair that the review reflects circumstances beyond the property and the service provided, but we understand how the review system works and we appreciate the opportunity to have assisted you.
