This was a great stay close to chimney rock and a short drive from Scottsbluff. The location was quiet and the AC units and fan kept the house cool during a very hot July stay. Numerous ungrades to the location that aren't depicted in the pictures such as a remodeled bathroom, new windows, ceiling fans, etc. I accidently left my makeup bag behind and the owner was kind enough to locate it and ship it back to me in Florida. Would highly recommend this location if you are staying in the area.

Highly recommend! Pictures in listing are accurate. Things pictures don’t tell you… This farm house will make you feel like you’re back at your grandparent’s house but upgraded…pet friendly, all the kitchenware you need, efficient washer & dryer, dish tv, tv in second bedroom, comfortable beds, great water pressure, hot water for 4 people to shower back to back, nice plush towels. Privacy, quiet country living, beautiful sunset. Easy check in and easy checkout. The host was easy to communicate with. The only thing I was worried about was that it was warm when we first got there, we turned the AC unit & fans on & it it cooled down by evening. We left the AC & fans on for our entire stay & it was fine.

We’ll start with the not so good issues. The property was described as clean by previous guests but it was not. The toilet had a ring around the bowl. Every window had dead bugs around it and the windows were dirty. The blinds that were installed had not been cleaned in a long time.The furnishings were old and outdated. A window in each bedroom had no window covering. The overhead fans in each bedroom had no pull chain to regulate the fan speed.The shower was a highlight as it was modern but the bathroom door did not close and the bathroom needed a shelf to put clean clothes on after a shower.There was only one hand soap in the bathroom which was not even half full when we arrived. Kitchen had a bottle of hand sanitizer that was only a quarter of the way full. We bought our own paper towels after the few paper towels ran out.The property has Bell Howell Pest Repeller Aid devices installed throughout the property but we had a constant flow of flies. We did buy fly swatters to resolve the issue.This property was reviewed by many guests as “excellent” but it was fair at best. The property was quiet and the location provided some nice views of the surrounding area.

The house was freshly cleaned, comfy, and cozy. I use the kitchen quite a bit, and the location is peaceful with a beautiful view. Easily accessible from town. We were able to see lots of Canada geese fly in. We loved being in the country with a view of Chimney Rock.
