About this property

Lovely restored farmhouse with spacious rooms and exceptional views

Come and relax with your family in this peaceful house, surrounded by organically farmed fields. A four-bedroom farmhouse, tastefully restored to create a bright and spacious living area in a beautiful rural setting with breathtaking views of the countryside, at the foot of the village of Puylaroque. Close to many places of interest, such as Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, the Aveyron gorges, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Bruniquel, gastronomy, farmers' markets, and perfect dark skies for stargazing. A large south-facing terrace, shaded by wisteria, jasmine, and honeysuckle, is perfect for lazy afternoons. All around, a vast garden that gives way to fields in the distance. The small swimming pool is shared amicably with the guests of Le Pigeonnier. The house accommodates 8 people in four bedrooms. Entrance: Stone steps lead to a terrace and the front door, where you can enjoy the shade after 2 pm. Living room: The front door opens into the living/dining room and then a kitchen. It is a large, very pleasant, open, and extremely bright space, with windows overlooking the surrounding countryside on all sides. There is a spacious living area with two large sofas and an armchair, facing the wood-burning stove, and an extremely comfortable place to spend long winter evenings. There is a stereo system to which you can connect your mobile phone, and numerous board games for adults and children. Toilet and shower room: Coming from the living room, you will find a toilet and a separate shower room. Bedroom 1: Past the toilet and shower room, there is a bedroom containing a single daybed that can be converted into a double bed (160cm x 200cm). This room also contains a television screen for connecting your PC. This is a comfortable area for audiovisual entertainment, separate from the main living room. PGJyPg PGJyPg Living Room: PGJyPg Next to the living room is a large, antique dining table that seats eight. PGJyPg PGJyPg Kitchen: PGJyPg A fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven, large freestanding refrigerator and freezer, and dishwasher. You have all the classics such as a toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker, Bialetti, and Bodum. PGJyPg The kitchen contains a breakfast table that comfortably seats four. French doors lead to the large, south-facing terrace. Terrace: Wooden terrace with glass panels offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We regularly see deer, hares, and pheasants from the kitchen windows, and sometimes wild boar. Ground Floor: A wooden staircase leads to the ground floor, where the three main bedrooms are located. These are wonderfully cool during the hot summer months and heated in winter by the wood-burning stove and electric radiators. Bedroom 2 (Master Bedroom): A hallway leads to the master bedroom with a king-size bed (180cm x 200cm) and space for hanging and folding clothes. The master bedroom has French doors opening onto a ground-floor terrace and the garden. Bedroom 3: A children's bedroom with two single beds and plenty of children's books and toys. Bedroom 4: A dual-aspect bedroom with a single daybed that can be converted into two single beds, or a double bed. This room also contains the washing machine.
