Poor communication and accommodations

We arrived for our 6 night 7 day vacation. Well 5 of them days we had no running water and had to sleep poop the entire time. Had to rent a motel to shower. Was advertised checkout at 11 and owner tried to make us leave at 10. Did not provide any means of water for us at all. The unit plum stunk when we left due to dirty dishes and not being able to flush the toilet and just ourselves to be honest. The views was good. The area was good. Had issues getting in when we got there. 7 degrees by the way. The owner did not reply till the following day. Took me a min to figure it out. Then had issues with the Wi-Fi. Was just overall a terrible experience and I would not recommend anyone to rent the unit. There was many other people there with the same issues and left the property not pleased stating they would not be back as well. Now understand the owner couldn’t predict the weather and the water issue. But she could have accommodated us. But she absolutely waited till the very last day when we was already gone the day before because I have had enough to of having no water when I had been in contact with her about it the entire stay. She just kept saying it will be back on shortly. 5 days no change of the water situation and as far as I know I am being told even after we left same situation. I am not pleased with this stay and I should not have had to pay almost 400 dollars for a motel to shower. Sincerely a P***** off customer

AVOID-- We were polite and helpful to this guest throughout their stay. When Christopher arrived it is true that due to the bitter cold everywhere that weekend, that the water was out for a few days. The water authority and the HOA were on it right away trying to fix it as soon as the weather permitted. And relayed all updates to the guest. Water was offered to guests if they needed more. There was water in the supply closet as well. Christopher never asked for more. Despite the water outage, the guest decided to stay. They could have left, but didn't. So we did our best to check in with them and make sure they were okay. At one point they told us: "They were having a good time and enjoying the snowfall. and the beautiful view." Sounded like they were doing okay to us. Check out has been and is always at 10 AM. The HOA was working on the water situation and that's what I relayed to him. I'm not sure how it could have been said that I was not responsive. I spent most of my Christmas holiday trying to help them. Very high maintenance guests. Did not even appreciate that I gave up much of my own holiday to help them, even though they were the ones who decided to stay in the unit. I'd advise to avoid them if you can. I wish they had left. The unit was a complete mess and required extra cleaning when they left. Oh, and yes the unit stunk when they left because they refused to put any water in the tank to flush the toilet, even though again, they are the ones who decided to stay. Horrible experience.
