Property was beautiful, clean, quiet and nice Location. Short drive to store. The only problem we had is that we stayed with our elderly parents and that cargo elevator did not work..
Thanks for the wonderful stay! Our family of 8 had an amazing time. We limited out on redfish Saturday and caught even more on Sunday—it was such a great fishing trip! The house was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed (including the things we forgot to pack!). It was the perfect spot for our family from Houston and Dallas to come together. We truly appreciated the thoughtful setup and can’t wait to rent again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and successful fishing getaway!Let me know if you’d like to tweak it further!
The owners were amazing. Very accommodating, even called the first night to check and make sure everything was ok. Everything was very nice and clean.Great location. We will definitely be back.
This place is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. We crabbed off the bulkhead and had a blast. Would definitely recommend this to others.
My husband and I stayed at The Yellowfin 3 nights. It was such a fun time. The house/property is absolutely great and communication with the property owners was very easy. The area is really convenient to very good fishing. We’re coming back in October and we cannot wait! Overall, a 100% rating!
Fantastic location on canal leading to lake, excellent amenities including a great coffee machine with both solo cup and pot capabilities (really important to me, so many places have the cheapest thing they can get away with!). First class all the way!!
House is immaculate and fully stocked with more than just the essentials. Stan was very informative as a host and called just to check on us. House located perfectly on the water with a boat slip. We’ll be back and thanks again!!!!
Great location if you have a boat. No launch at the camp. Will need to launch from marina, but once launched has a bay at the property with boat lift. Very clean and relaxing place after a long day of fishing! Will stay again in the future.
My family and I stayed over Easter weekend and had a great time. The house was super clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, which made cooking really easy. The owner let us know the dryer wasn’t working on the day we arrived, which we appreciated. The elevator wasn’t working either—we had seen that mentioned in an older review and hoped it had been fixed, but it didn’t take away at all from the fun we had. The kids loved fishing/crabbing of the canal and the adults enjoyed relaxing on the deck, Overall, it was a great little weekend getaway.
The house was fantastic, we absolutely loved it! Our family who now live in Lake Charles came down every day to see us and we all had such a wonderful time! we crabbed & fished every day plus my daughter & I went down into Cameron to see the pelicans and porpoises. This property is just absolutely perfect. I spoke with Stan 2 or 3 times total and he was just great! We will definitely be going back!
We were here for a baseball tournament in Sulphur/Lake Charles. The Yellowfin was perfect for relaxing on the deck after the games. The house equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. We will be back!
Great camp for a fishing family getaway or a client entertain fishing excursion. Stan and Chris are very accommodating. Nice place!
