A perfect place to stay if you're in town for Cooperstown tournaments or need a break from city life. Pet friendly, very quiet and serene with a beautiful backdrop of gardens, flowers and mountains. The wifi signal was strong and definitely the icing on the cake, in case you need to work remotely. Would definitely stay again.

Apartment had everything we could possibly need for a quick getaway while in town for a baseball tournament. Very conveniently located: 10 minutes from Dreams Park, 10 minutes into downtown Cooperstown and so pleasantly tucked away for quiet evenings. Vanessa & Colton were amazing hosts - 10/10 would go back in a heartbeat!
Peaceful setting, convenient to downtown Cooperstown
Peaceful and beautiful setting outside of Cooperstown. Convenient location to restaurants and The Baseball Hall of Fame. Owners were very friendly and responsive. The fire flies were amazing to see!

Could hear footsteps and everything from upstairs.
I stayed here for a few days while my son played baseball. It’s about 10 minutes from the Dream Park fields. I would definitely recommend for 1 to 3 people, possibly looking for a less expensive place to stay. The area is very serene and relaxing.
Wonderful stay. Apartment was clean and had everything that you could need. Outdoor was equipped with fire pit, BBQ and chairs. Very nice would definitely stay again. Great communication with home owner.
Stayed for sons baseball tourney at Dreams Park. Place was great for my purpose.
Early July, weather was very humid, a dehumidifier would have been good to have. But the place was very comfortable (has a floor fan and AC).

2 day stay
Was pretty clean, but the corners were not. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and load every time we moved or rolled over. The one thing most people want when staying away from home is a comfortable bed and decent sheets. Shower head was entirely too big for the size of the shower and shower floor was slippery. If some of these things were corrected, I would stay there again. Host was very kind.

Cooperstown
Just what we needed for a trip to Cooperstown to watch ball games. We traveled with our small dog who was welcomed here. A bit confusing initially getting in, "second driveway" was actually the first on our approach to the property thus the confusion. Futon bed was a bit unstable and LOUD with creaks, if the trundle feature was used it would block the exit. Everything needed a good scrub. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Welcomed us with flowers and snacks. Very relaxing area I would certainly stay here again.

Hi Jodi,
Thank you for the review.
We added a sign "VRBO PARKING" to the correct driveway.
The trundle feature is on wheels to pull out from exit.
We also got rid of the area rugs to show the beautiful floor. Hopefully we'll have time to paint too.
We appreciate your patience and feedback, and are looking forward to your stay again!
We couldn’t tune in any TV channels on the TV and were unclear how to contact the property manager. The Sulfur odor of the water was unpleasant. Exterior lighting from driveway to the door were limited. Overall, the unit fit our needs. It was neat clean and as advertised. The setting was nice overlooking the trees and fields.

Noise level above
The property in its self was nice. The guest that stayed above me was very noisy. After asking for consideration nothing changed. The noice (running, jumping, dragging of furniture) took place from morning to night. I found that to be very inconsiderate and rude.

Hi Davina,
We apologize for the inconsiderate guest above. As the host we took your review seriously and put felt furniture pads on all of the furniture, we provided a large area rug, and we also placed ear plugs in the guest bedroom.
We would love to host you again, and ensure your stay is quiet is peaceful.
The location was great. The host was very kind, attended to the issue to repair the washing machine.Suggestions--Remind the upstairs renters that other guests are in the apt below--it is very noisy and it seemed like both sets of upstairs guests used the washer/dryer all of the time at all hours. The washer/dryer is right next to the bedroom/bathroom of the downstairs apt and all conversations, etc can be heard. Also there is only a sheer curtain on the bedroom window--so while it is in the county, when the upstairs guests come down to do laundry they could see in the bedroom. The place is decorated nice and the plants are a great added touch. It would be nice if another vehicle could fit in the drive--as our kids wanted to stop by to eat together one afternoon, but there is not a place for another vehicle to park. --Just some suggestions,
Karla P.

Why they chose this property
I chose Hartwick because, quite simply, it's the heart of Otsego County. Here, you get the peace and beauty of country living, with quick and easy access to the vibrant small-town charm of Cooperstown and the college-town energy of Oneonta. It’s the best of both worlds—tranquil and convenient.
What makes this property unique
What makes my property unique? It’s simple. And sometimes, that’s exactly what we need—a quiet place to recharge, reflect, and just enjoy life’s little pleasures.
