The property in its self was nice. The guest that stayed above me was very noisy. After asking for consideration nothing changed. The noice (running, jumping, dragging of furniture) took place from morning to night. I found that to be very inconsiderate and rude.
Stayed for sons baseball tourney at Dreams Park. Place was great for my purpose.
Early July, weather was very humid, a dehumidifier would have been good to have. But the place was very comfortable (has a floor fan and AC).
Peaceful setting, convenient to downtown Cooperstown
Peaceful and beautiful setting outside of Cooperstown. Convenient location to restaurants and The Baseball Hall of Fame. Owners were very friendly and responsive. The fire flies were amazing to see!
I stayed here for a few days while my son played baseball. It’s about 10 minutes from the Dream Park fields. I would definitely recommend for 1 to 3 people, possibly looking for a less expensive place to stay. The area is very serene and relaxing.
Vanessa & Colton were VERY nice, and the place was clean. However, at the time of our booking, the description didn't say that they lived upstairs. Our first night there I got very little sleep due to all the noise coming from upstairs. Most of the evening we could hear a scraping noise ( I think they were redoing a room), and some loud talking-which didn't bother us at first. At 10:30 pm they decided to run the vacuum cleaner, from 11:00 pm-12:00 am they were stomping on the floor, and in the wee hours of the morning there were more scraping sounds. I was so exhausted the next day that I became ill, and we had to return to the apt. much sooner than planned. If it wouldn't have been for the fact that we couldn't get a refund, we would have left that day! When we first arrived, there were no towels, no "welcome packet" as shown in the pictures, no info on local businesses, attractions, etc. The shower is so tiny that I practically had my face against the wall and the shower head wasn't adjustable...and the sulfur smell was so overwhelming that we could smell it in our hair when we got home!!

2 day stay
Was pretty clean, but the corners were not. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and load every time we moved or rolled over. The one thing most people want when staying away from home is a comfortable bed and decent sheets. Shower head was entirely too big for the size of the shower and shower floor was slippery. If some of these things were corrected, I would stay there again. Host was very kind.
Wonderful stay. Apartment was clean and had everything that you could need. Outdoor was equipped with fire pit, BBQ and chairs. Very nice would definitely stay again. Great communication with home owner.
We couldn’t tune in any TV channels on the TV and were unclear how to contact the property manager. The Sulfur odor of the water was unpleasant. Exterior lighting from driveway to the door were limited. Overall, the unit fit our needs. It was neat clean and as advertised. The setting was nice overlooking the trees and fields.

Cooperstown
Just what we needed for a trip to Cooperstown to watch ball games. We traveled with our small dog who was welcomed here. A bit confusing initially getting in, "second driveway" was actually the first on our approach to the property thus the confusion. Futon bed was a bit unstable and LOUD with creaks, if the trundle feature was used it would block the exit. Everything needed a good scrub. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Welcomed us with flowers and snacks. Very relaxing area I would certainly stay here again.
My wife and I had tickets for a concert at Omegang so we decided to make a weekend getaway in Cooperstown out of it. Cute place that was perfect for my wife and I and near many local attractions. Vanessa was very hospitable and always communicated promptly to any questions we had. My wife and I said the place reminded us of our first apartment together :)
Highly recommend brunch at Origins and the Farmers Museum!

About the host

Hi! I’m from Long Island, NY, and now happily call Central New York home. I work at NY Goat Yoga, where I get to combine the calming benefits of yoga with the joy and laughter of animal therapy—yes, baby goats included! I love being a host because I enjoy creating a space where others can relax, reconnect, and feel at home. Sharing that experience with guests is truly rewarding.
Why they chose this property
I chose Hartwick because, quite simply, it's the heart of Otsego County. Here, you get the peace and beauty of country living, with quick and easy access to the vibrant small-town charm of Cooperstown and the college-town energy of Oneonta. It’s the best of both worlds—tranquil and convenient.
What makes this property unique
What makes my property unique? It’s simple. And sometimes, that’s exactly what we need—a quiet place to recharge, reflect, and just enjoy life’s little pleasures.
