This is the same listing as Top of Church Street Roost but as of December 1, 2021 I will be the Host instead of the Co-Host. Situated but 200 feet from the coffee shops, brewpubs, and restaurants of Church Street, this charming, large one-bedroom is the perfect roost for both Burlington tourists and UVM parents in town to visit. This listing also has a living room with a futon and recliner couch as well as a full kitchen, porch and free easy parking.

Michele was an awesome host! We loved the place so much with some of the old traditional New England architecture and those wood floors! The location was ideal right near the main town center. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for having us. Sincerely, Michael
This was our second time staying here. We love the location (walkable to downtown church street). Michelle the host is excellent and responsive.
Will stay here again. We love Burlington!
We spent 3 days here and had a wonderful time. Located about an hour drive from Stowe and Smugglers Notch. Church Street was a delight! It is pedestrian traffic only and the streets are lined with cute shops and some great restaurants! I personally loved hearing the church bells chime every hour!
Great location close to downtown. The apartment is really nice although the couch is not comfy to sit on and the futon was very uncomfortable to sleep on. However, it was a great price compared to surrounding listings
This home is in an excellent location. We were able to walk to church street and many restaurants. This is helpful as just about everywhere charges for parking. Suppling the coffee was awesome. The home was clean and comfortable

A great little house very close to the walking mall, had a great stay! There was aittle mix up with the cleaners who had not come before we arrived but Michelle was gracious and took care of everything. Highly recommend staying here!
Second time staying in Michelle’s house and works really well for us particularly allowing dogs! We love walking into town from the house. There is some noise at night and people hanging around nearby throughout the day and night due to a recovery center next door.
We loved the convenience of this property for walking everywhere! Michele was an excellent host with great local recommendations. Only note is that the driveway entry isn’t great for vehicles low to the ground - my car bottomed out twice but that was unfortunately our only option for parking.

Unfortunately the apartment suffers from a Burlington problem in that homeless has exploded as has drug use which was being used in the neighboring parking lot during my stay. Its proximity to Church street and downtown make it very convenient. If I were traveling with kids I would think again about staying here.
Nice time staying in this apartment. Very close walk to church st. marketplace. Convenient parking space. You can hear the other tenants at times but we weren’t too bothered by it. Would stay again!
We travel to Burlington every August to visit w/ friends. This was our second time renting with Michele. The property is clean, very reasonably priced, and is in a terrific location. Our only complaint is that it books up too fast! We missed getting in our reservation for our weekend next summer. We may need to plan a fall trip instead :)

Nicely maintained spot really close to Church St and lake Champlain. Only thing is it’s behind a church and there are a lot of cars parked right outside the windows and the door. Occasionally, you can hear backpackers/homeless people talking right outside. The church bell rings every hour and starts at 5AM in the morning. The host is nice and the place is neat. Just that the area isn’t the best.

This is the cutest little place to stay and it is so close to many great restarants, shops, Champlain lake, walking trails etc. I rated one area a 3 star because the VBRO unit is on the first floor and there are full time attendants in the other apartments. The walls are very thin and we could hear the tenants above us at night which made it hard to sleep. The 2nd night however I turned on the sound machine on my iPhone and that took care of the issue. Some of the other reviews mention homeless people around the unit. While we saw many people, I never felt unsafe. The house next door is a Restart facility so there are many people coming and going through the day. We would stay here again.
Located less than a block from the Downtown Pedestrian Mall. Many choices for meals and shopping and street entertainment. The food coop about two blocks away was outstanding. It would be hard to find a more convenient location! Michele was extremely responsive and even arranged for us to leave our car in her driveway before check in time. The apartment was clean: comfortable bed and lots of room to spread out Some visitors may feel uncomfortable in the neighborhood as there were facilities nearby for individuals in need of help. We never felt threatened or unsafe and I would not hesitate recommending staying here.

Drugs!
Stay here if you specifically want to be right next door to a place that harbors active drug users and clean needle exchanges. This was not disclosed in the listing of this VRBO. The first thing we notice when we pulled in at 1pm are people actively using drugs behind the dumpster next door and a group of at least 10-12 people gathered in the parking lot next door. We walked to the front of the rental to see what the business next door was, to then be approached by the drug users telling us we are bothering them. This business attracts throughout the day 10-15 minimum groups of people that hang out outside by your vacation rental, and clearly are using drugs. Additionally, until 11pm the first night we stayed we had 2 drugs users moaning and yelling to one side of the unit, while additionally having a homeless woman digging through the trash for over an hour on the opposite side.
Michele's stay inside is clean, but the walls are very thin and you can hear the drug users next door throughout your time there. We too needed a noise machine in order to drown out the upstairs movement and the constant communication of homeless people next door.
Michele reported to us that security often comes by to check on the location. We were there from 7pm-11pm and did not once see security stop by.
I would recommend picking a different location for your safety and peace of mind.
We enjoyed our time in the apartment. There was plenty of space and parking was provided. We were warm and cozy despite single digit temperatures outside. The location is fantastic - essentially right on Church Street. We walked to great restaurants, bars, and shops and enjoyed all that Burlington had to offer. Michele was a gracious host, providing great recommendations and was very responsive to any questions we had.
Michele's place was perfect. There is a large bed in the bedroom and a futon and couch that opens up in the other room. The dining room is very large and includes a table that easily seats six. The kitchen is well-stocked and the bathroom was fine for our group. The location is perfect! Literally steps from all of the shops on Church Street plus a parking space to boot!

Great clean older apartment
The property was very clean. Its an older house with apartments. When we arrived we noticed the house behind us had homeless citizens living in a tent. At first we were unsettled but these peoole were not addicts. They are people who cant afford housing. Burlington is very very expensive so dont go there with minimal money.
I messaged Michelle about the back porch light not staying on and it didnt get repaired. That was an issue because my sister had to take her dog outside with no light. The street lights dont provide much light so we were a bit scared to go out in the dark.
Everything was provided that we needed and again it was very very clean.
Noise level was a bit loud at times from people who lived in the other apartments but we turned on AC and blocked them out.
Marijuana is legal in Vermont so you will see people smoking and the smell at times was strong
Its a college town with a Medical University which is very close.
We would stay there again!! Its inexpensive and worth every penny we paid.
Again, it was very clean!!!
