On our arrival, the house looked extremely promising. However, within minutes the Hoomy representative mentioned that previous occupants had experienced difficulty with the dishwasher. In the event, the dishwasher defied all efforts to get it working, despite another attempt by the representative, two attempts by the local Hoomy manager and even one by the plumber who came on the fifth day to replace the mixer taps in the bathroom, after which at least we could begin to enjoy using the bath. In the event, we complained to VRBO, who arranged compensation. While the representative did all she could to resolve these problems, Hoomy in general have left us with a very bad impression. As much as we would love to return to this house, we would not do so while Hoomy is managing it.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re pleased to hear that the house looked so promising upon your arrival. We’re truly sorry for the issues you experienced with the dishwasher and the impact this had on your stay. Unfortunately, technical problems can happen despite our best efforts, but we fully understand how frustrating this must have been. To clarify, the partial refund you received was issued directly by us to compensate for the lack of a working appliance during your stay. We’ll continue to reinforce our equipment checks before each arrival to help avoid situations like this in the future. We sincerely hope you might consider staying with us again under better circumstances. Please don’t hesitate to contact us directly if you have any questions or future travel plans. Warm regards, Félix – hoomy Location & Conciergerie
