Take a 7-minute walk to a beautiful private beach, or relax on the front veranda or by the pool with stunning views.

This serene oasis has everything you need, whether you're seeking relaxation or celebration. The best cook on-site for (only) two meals per day (if you need more for an extra fee), and a daily housekeeper is included. 30 minutes from Mobay (Marigritaville) and Ocho (Dunns River). Private Driver for airport pickup and excursions is available for an extra fee.

Girls Trip Gone RIGHT!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Yellowbird Villa. Megan and Chef Roy were wonderful hosts, keeping the villa clean and full of delicious food. Every meal was perfection. The villa is a little older but very well kept. A short walk to the beach (up hill on the way back) and there are seats and a bar at the beach to enjoy. Faithlyn communicated very quickly providing all the info and arrangements we needed. We had an amazing driver, Donahue, who made every daily outing an awesome adventure. I will surely stay there again.

Great stay!

Thank you again for everything! The host was wonderful with great communication. Roy the cook and Jennifer the cleaner were just awesome. Very attentive and helpful with everything. Even going to the store with me several times to get food and pick the right things. Home is a little older but it’s true Jamaican feel and look of the 60’s which made me feel at home. Will definitely be back!! Thanks again Rick

March at Silver Sands

Nice quiet location in the community. Adequate space in the house, pool a nice size. Very comfortable beds. Upkeep and regular maintenance lacking on the property. Water pressure terrible for showering, so much calcium buildup on 3 of 4 showerheads. Smaller appliances in kitchen not functioning well. Housekeeper very hardworking. And why was there a scraggly looking chicken housed on the property?

Loved our stay at this home

This house is a little dated, but the amenities more than make up for it. Most importantly, and not mentioned is the description, this house comes with staff - a cleaner (Melissa or Kim) and cook (Roy), who were entirely fabulous! Melissa greeted us with song most mornings and despite our large group or house stayed tidy. Roy proved himself a delicious chef and fabulous baker. We shop at the grocery store, butcher and bakery in nearby Duncans and generally prepared breakfast for ourselves. For lunch we bought supplies for sandwiches, salads, and beautiful fruit plates. For dinners, which we generally planned with Roy each morning ensuring we'd bought the right supplies, don't miss out on Roy's famous Jerk Chicken (we requested mild) Jerk Pork, BBQ Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, Fish/Lobster, Chopped Salad, Rice and Beans, and Festival. His banana bread and fruit cake also disappeared despite everyone being overly stuffed. You buy it, he'll cook it. ((Note there is a bar and grill at the waterfront where you can order chicken fingers, patties and grilled cheese and other treats)). The other highlight was the pool. After a few hours at the beach each morning we ran in for lunch, then jumped in the pool. We were all delighted to find the pool partially shaded by the mid afternoon, allowing us a much needed breach from the sun. The lounge chairs, front porch and roof top deck made it easy for us to spread out and really enjoy this house, inside and out.

Housekeeping Guidelines:
1. Save Energy: Please turn off the AC when leaving a room. Enjoy the newly installed LED power fans in all rooms, including the living room and front veranda!
2. Mosquito Awareness: Close the main doors by evening, as mosquitoes are most active at night. Bring spray for extra protection; we’ll try to provide some as well.
3. Beach Sand: After a beach trip, rinse off sand at the outdoor shower and hang towels on the back porch ledge to dry.
4. Safety on the Lookout Balcony: Hold onto the rail while climbing. Children must be supervised.
5. Wet Floors: Avoid running on wet tiles to prevent slips and falls.
6. Pool Rules: No diving allowed for everyone’s safety.
7. Daily Services: Enjoy daily cleaning and delicious meals prepared by Mr. Roy.
8. Bug-Free Comfort: All rooms are equipped with screens for a peaceful stay.
