About this property

Gîte Valleraugue Gard

At the foot of Mont Aigoual, in the Gard Cévennes, I offer a gîte for 4 people, in the owner's house, with a separate entrance and terrace, a fully equipped kitchen with a mezzanine (one double bed), a living room with a mezzanine (one single bed and one single bed), and a shower. La Bécède is 1.2km from the village of Valleraugue in the commune of Val-d'Aigoual, with a butcher, pharmacy, bakeries, mini-market, and tourist office. Swimming is 3km away, and a supermarket is 25km away. Val d'Aigoual, a commune bordering the Cévennes National Park, is a nature lover's paradise. It is recognised as a Green Resort and Fishing Resort. The calm and serenity of the hamlet of La Bécède make it an ideal place for a relaxing holiday while being close to renowned tourist sites (Mont Aigoual, the 4000 markets, Grotte des Demoiselles, Cirque de Navacelles, ...). The gîte is located in the middle of the hamlet. The view extends over the mountains, the chestnut-covered slopes and, at the bottom of the valley, the meadows used as pasture for sheep.
