The property was clean with a great view of the mountains! Definitely recommend bringing a 4wd or AWD vehicle for the driveway access but would definitely recommend!

Amazing! The entire experience was great, from booking to the house itself, the location, the drive into town. It made showing someone a good time easy. The space was more than the 2 of us needed but would definitely come back with friends and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay and enjoy all that Gatlinburg has to offer while staying in a non traditional cabin. Great Property.. Not a cookie cutter log cabin. Modern Contemporary design. 2 story house with Open floor plan. Excellent views of smoky mountain. Outdoor entertainment with sofa and 75 inch TV. Board games to keep kids occupied. We even spotted black baby bear on last day of our stay. Mike is great owner. He responded immediately when we had any questions or concerns. Overall awesome stay. Beautiful home in the mountains!

You won't regret renting the Vayhaus property in Gatlinburg. It's lovely with high-end finishes and plenty of space for a large family to enjoy. The host Mike is exceptional--incredibly responsive and helpful. The check-in and check-out procedures were simple, and everything just worked while we were there. If you are looking for something a little different than the traditional log cabin, this is it. You get all of the amenities and views with beautiful interiors that feel fresh, open, and new. If I had one complaint, it's that you can't easily get ESPN on the TV. I know people don't typically go to the mountains to watch TV, but we hoped to catch the college world series a couple of evenings during our stay, and the LG smart TV does not offer ESPN. Airplay didn't work, so we had to follow a circuitous process of logging in through the TV's web browser to get to the game. It ultimately worked, so no real complaint--just a heads up if there was a sporting event you were hoping to watch! Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will back for sure!

Amazing Modern New Cabin with Fantastic Views and Great Host

This is a brand new modern style cabin with spectacular views that we absolutely loved. If you like more of the " all woody" traditional cabin experience (which is great) then this is not for you, unless you are open for something unique. This is a contemporary modern style cabin, the type me and my family were looking for and it exceeded all of our expectations. The pictures are accurate, but when you are there in person it looks even better. Everything was super clean and spotless. Very close to things like a supermarket, the friar doughnut shop, restaurants, entrance to the smoky mountains park, etc. Mike is an excellent host and provided all the information we needed and promptly answered questions. Totally recommend this property!

Incredible in every way!

This place far exceeded our expectations! The house is new and they spared no expense on the building materials and furnishings. The home was decorated beautifully and felt calm and inviting. Nothing beats waking up to the sunrise every morning and enjoying the gorgeous mountain views. The property manager was responsive, helpful, and kind. We will never stay anywhere else when we travel back to the area.

Gorgeous views in a beautiful modern home

We had a wonderful vacation with the breathtaking mountain views from the huge windows. It snowed while here and it was absolutely stunning watching it fall from inside. We even got to build a little snowman.

We hope to help you have the perfect space for special moments, a home to create lasting memories, and relax & recharge. Where everything you need is right there, without the unnecessary clutter.

Why they chose this property

We chose this are because it is within 3-4 miles of Gatlinburg but far enough out to get away from the busyness of downtown Gatlinburg. Plus we have amazing views!

What makes this property unique

Our property is very unique to Gatlinburg, I think you would be hard-pressed to find modern architecture. We sit on top of a mountain that looks down to nothing but log cabins. Our huge windows will greet you as you enter the house with views of the Smoky Mountains. The living room has 15' wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows and the main bedroom has 12' tall windows. The best part is on a clear night with all the lights off you can sit (or lay in bed) and feel surrounded by stars. It is really an amazing experience.

We also have a courtyard which is an amazing space to hang out with friends and family. There is a 75" TV, fire pit, corn hole, connect four, and a large living green wall.
