Genesis Ranch is a rustic, relaxed and warm gathering place for hosting retreats or small gatherings for 10 or people or less, family getaways or a romantic staycation for 2. This 26 acre private property boasts beautifully groomed walking trails, an apple orchard, a butterfly waystation, rustic barns, fields of flowers and grasses native to Minnesota. It’s best feature is the beautifully renovated 1919 ‘cowboy chic’ 4 bedroom, two bathroom home with a spacious wrap-around porch to relax and retreat. Adjacent to the property is Spring Lake Park Reserve where guests can walk or bike for miles on the Schar’s Bluff Trail or Archery Trail; a state-of-the art archery trail. Come stay and be prepared to fall in love with this rustic retreat.

*Please note that we do not allow more than 10 guests to be on the property at all times. This is non-negotiable. No parties allowed. This is a quiet, upscale oasis for 10 people or less.

Bachelorette party

We slept 9 ladies completely comfortable for a bachelorette weekend getaway. We walked the beautiful land, saw deer, did yoga outside, enjoyed a bonfire and sat comfortably in the adorably decorated living room. It was the perfect stay not too far from the twin cities.

Nice house, outdoors is great, good location to nature trails

We stayed here for my son graduation at St Olaf. It was 35 mins away but it all worked out. The house is great and the outdoor space is lovely. There are some great walking, biking trails near by. The host was responsive to our questions. We hope to return!

Easy, Comfortable, Private.

The process leading up to our stay was super easy as the owner was very responsive via VRBO or texting and quickly answered any questions I had and tried to accommodate our group in any way possible. The house was clean, comfortable, and best of all...there are no neighbors, so you can enjoy playing yard games or the privacy of your own late-night campfire...something you can't really do in the metro areas where my friends and I all live.
