Spectacular views!

West Point has the absolute best views of the ocean, the point and oh my the sunsets! Our extended family of 20 continue the tradition of gathering in one spot for Xmas and this is the first place where everyone got their own bedroom. The kitchen was missing a few items but a call to the rental company responded quickly. We got this large house at the last minute at an end of year discount so it was well worth what we paid.

A bit of a rough start...Arrived and the house was very musty. Had to open the windows to let in fresh air along with 95 degree heat. The hot tub was very dirty. Immediately called maintenance, and they did arrive, but it was the next morning. They cleaned the tub and asked us not to use if for another 6 hours...Not a lot of cooking ware available, and what was there, was in sad shape. Short on dish cloths and towels, silverware insuffeicient for 38 visitors.Upstairs outside sink was clogged upon arrival. Most of the bathrooms had no trash cans. The head of the company did call the 2nd or 3rd day and checked on us. All in, we feel that more care should have been taken to ensure that the house was ready upon our arrival. A quick walk-through would have prevented us from having an early bad experience and impression. Overall, the house needs quite a bit of upgrades, or just routine maintenance. Chipped paint, worn out deck boards, Great location.

Great location-Needs maintenance

Location of home is fabulous. Beautiful sunsets. Home not maintained well and has a lot of maintenance issues. Shower floor in master bathroom has 12” crack and water pours out from under the house when used. Home is not furnished well. Kitchen furnished with older cookware. Cooktops either too hot or cold. Difficult to cook on. None of the bathrooms have been remodeled. Advertises it sleeps over 30 but only has 1 kitchen table that can seat 12 plus 4 stools at window. LR furniture can accommodate about 10. Online pictures need updating as the hot tub under the home isn’t there. Despite these issues we had a great time. We had 7 adults and 3 children.
