Location was great! Loved the view of magic sands beach. Furnishings need updating.

The furniture in and out of condo could do with some updating. The inside of condo is in need of some tender loving care and cleaning. The location is what sells this location with the ocean sounds and sights everything you could hope for. The manager was very responsive to any of our needs and helpful in resolving any issue we had while there. Thanks for your hospitality.

Our gorgeous solid birchwood/bamboo, monkey pod & teakwood furniture was entirely hand crafted for our unit. It was a tree shortly before it became our furniture and it's design and craftsmanship are timeless. While handcrafted furniture does lack certain perfections in comparison to modern "particle board" furniture coming off an assembly line, it's unequalled in strength, character and vibe. Combined with our travertine tile floors inside and Turkish flagstone on the lanai, there's a certain warmth and coziness that is entirely unique to our unit. The outdoor furniture does become weathered due to being only a few feet away from the ocean....we replace it on a regular basis.

This place was a dream come true.We wanted a place on the water and that we got. Well equipped condo

Communicating with Barry was easy and he was super helpful. Condo lies 6km away from kailua-kona and next to the most beautiful beach on the island(planet). Big balcony was in use and we even saw dolphins twice in the morning as we were eating breakfast.

This place is incredible! The view alone is amazing, and the pictures alone do not do it justice. Awesome sunset views every night! Walking to the beach everyday is a dream, and its so easy to jump on Ali'i drive and go into Kona for the farmers market, or grab a bite to eat. This is exactly where we will stay when we come back to Kona!

Out of a dream!

From the moment we walked in, our jaw dropped at the view! Unreal! Worst day of our life was having to leave! Amazing views, very clean! We saw dolphins and whales everyday! Had to do 4 stars though- first) the unit right next to us was undergoing extreme maintenance. One morning we were woken at 7:45am with hammers and drills, we thought they were going to bring our wall down! That was very unpleasant and upsetting. Also, water pressure in the shower is very poor. Aside from those two ordeals, we have no complaints.

Amazing Views from lanai

Ocean waves were extremely loud making it difficult to sleep. You would actually think they were coming through the balcony windows and doors. Very amazing views of sunsets and ocean life. Very good location however you needed to drive everywhere, nothing in walking distance. Lot's of little insects around and shower had very low pressure. Overall it was a very nice stay.

There are very rare occasions when the waves are bigger than usual, but 99% of our guests dream about sleeping this close to the ocean and many book for this reason alone. Many guests report their best nights sleep in years. Bugs and critters are a part of the Hawaiian landscape and difficult to entirely avoid. Most are harmless and important to our ecosystem and because there are sometimes few other options, locals have simply to learned to "co-habitate". In an effort to lessen or "ecological footprint", we switched to an "on-demand" water heater for our shower, which also results in lower water pressure.

PERFECT!

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights and LOVED it!! Talk about a view off a balcony...I would, but it left me speechless! We stayed in 3 different places on 2 Hawaiian islands, and this was by far the most incredible view we experienced and the most up-close, intimate experience of the ocean, sunsets, and the two unbelievably perfectly placed palm trees that absolutely made you feel like you were in a gorgeous post card. The lodging itself was perfect, private, clean, with everything you could want. A kitchen, DVDs, a pool, comfortable bed, laundry facilities, and more. With the incredibly fun town of Kona as your surrounding, you couldn't ask for more. Fantastic beach was right next to our unit. Great memories, great everything. Enjoy!
