Why they chose this property
There’s something magical about the Adirondacks. A sense of tranquility and adventure all rolled into one. When I first visited, I was captivated by its natural beauty: the towering peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and the endless opportunities to explore. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this wasn’t just a place to visit, it was a place I wanted to call home.
As an outdoor enthusiast, the Adirondacks are a dream come true. In the winter, the region transforms into a skier’s paradise. With Gore Mountain just a short drive away, I have access to some of the best skiing and snowboarding trails in the Northeast. The fresh powder and breathtaking views make every run unforgettable.
When the snow melts, the Adirondacks reveal an entirely new side of their beauty. Hiking trails wind through lush forests, leading to serene overlooks and waterfalls that feel like hidden treasures. Stuart Mountain, just minutes from my doorstep, is a family favorite—a hike that’s accessible yet rewarding. Biking enthusiasts will find no shortage of trails either, from challenging mountain paths to scenic routes that wind through quaint towns and along pristine lakes.
Beyond the outdoor activities, the Adirondacks offer a sense of community and charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. The area is dotted with cozy restaurants, unique shops, and cultural gems like the Adirondack Railroad. And for those days when I just want to relax, I love having the option to unwind by the lake, paddle a kayak, or simply enjoy a quiet evening by the fire pit.
The Adirondacks offer a perfect balance of adventure and peace, of small-town charm and big mountain views. It’s a place where I can connect with nature, create lasting memories with my family, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
Every time I sit on my porch swing or walk the trail behind my house, I’m reminded why I chose this place.

What makes this property unique
This property is on a quiet street and close to many excellent adventures. Walk to Loon Lake Beach, an 18-minute drive to Gore Mountain and close to dozens of hiking trails. We decorated it in the theme of the Adirondacks. The basement area is a second living area with a cozy couch, leather chair, and second TV. Most people relegate the kids to the basement. In this house, you'll want the adults to be down there as well.
