Wow, we could not have been more satisfied the the Sona Estate Retreat. Top notch in every way and close to our favorite vineyards. We loved it so much that we decided to stay an extra night. Cant wait to visit this lovely retreat again.
The property is amazing with a wonderful patio to sit and sip wine and look over the vineyard. Dennis is terrific, very communicative and responds quickly to any questions you have. The rooms are wonderful, large, and beautifully decorated. A terrific place for a weekend (or more) away. Cannot say enough positive things.
We loved our stay. The space was comfortably furnished and very clean. We appreciated the quality bed linens and high end touches used throughout. The wrap around porch that overlooks the vineyard was a great place for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The location is great, close to wineries and downtown Paso. We will stay again.
A welcoming and comfortable space. Stayed for our anniversary and it was a bit of a splurge for us but we enjoyed having the amenities that were available. Bed is a bit hard but other than that everything was top notch.
Everything about this wonderful property was fantastic! Extremely clean, will laid out, beautifully appointed, great views, very quiet . . . and on and on. Wish we had more time to spend there. The host, Dennis was very nice, helful and friendly, but respected our privacy as well. Definitely a 5-star experience!
The pictures do not do the property justice. It is so beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and made good use of the outdoor gas fire pit every night along with some good wine purchased. The main bedroom with the electronic shades and fireplace were a treat. The owners were so helpful and respectful of our privacy too.
Can't wait to come back and stay again!
This is a wonderful vacation rental. Everything was 1st class. The view is fantastic. The owner was very accommodating. Upon my inquiry about handicapped accessibility of the shower, he modified the shower to include a hand held shower option and a shower chair. The single level property is accessible for those who have physical challenges, however, it is not fully wheelchair accessible. Also, the bed is rather high. An addition of a step stool would be helpful. The kitchenette is nicely stocked. A toaster oven would be a nice addition. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. The property is about 5 miles away from the local town areas. It is located in the heart of wine country with many nearby wineries.
We recommend the Austin Hope Winery and Sculpterra 'Winery which has a garden full of art sculptures.
We had a nice relaxing vacation. It is nearby Cambria and Morro Bay if you want to take a day trip. We had a fantastic dinner at Les Petites Canailles French Restaurant. They have a five course dinner option with wine pairing which was delicious. They also have a regular dinner menu if you prefer.
Overall, Paso Robles is a very nice place to visit with lots of wineries and restaurants to go to.
What a unique stay and property. So peaceful, quiet, birds chirping, sun shining… the host was very nice and gave us favorite recommendations for restaurants. The retreat is brand new with top of the line appliances. We will be recommending this stay to all our friends and can’t wait for our next visit. Thanks
My wife and I had a great experience staying with Dennis at Willow Creek Winery. The winery is located in the heart of Paso Robles wine country with incredible views from the patio. The space is well decorated, clean, and quiet. I would recommend this to family and friends and plan to stay here again in the future.
