Additional information about your stay:
If you wish to rent kayaks, boats, or paddleboards, you can inquire with Pine Lake Boat and Motor.
Pine Lake has a public boat launch, and our dock can accommodate boats under 30 feet in length. The 660-acre lake offers excellent fishing opportunities, including panfish, bass, and northern pike.
If you rearrange furniture during your stay, kindly return it to its original position before checkout.
For extra accommodation (if you have a seventh person), the living room chair transforms into a small twin-size bed.
The dock is typically removed in October and reinstalled in late April. If you are staying close to those timeframes, please confirm whether the dock will be available during your stay.
While we welcome dogs, please keep them outside the main house (in the breezeway or garage) due to severe allergies. If they are hypo-allergenic, and dry then they can be in the house but keep them off the furniture. Nearby kennels are available, and kindly clean up after your pet.
For security, we have cameras at the front entryway and inside the two-car garage (excluded from the rental).
Smoking or vaping indoors is prohibited.
We leave some campfire wood there, but if you need more it is available to purchase nearby around Pine.
Lawn care occurs weekly, typically on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
In winter, snow removal occurs throughout the night or day whenever a few inches of snow accumulate.
Please be aware that neighbors may perform yard care at various times, including mowing, trimming, and leaf blowing.
We installed a new water softener in fall 2025, and new sediment filter unit which helps to make water quality excellent.
Periodic lake weed treatments occur during the summer. If you see a yellow notice on the property, please refrain from swimming or bathing near the shoreline for the rest of the day. You can still enjoy tubing or skiing offshore. This information is provided by Southern Michigan Lakes Manager Andy Tomasewski (PLMCorp.Net).
Garbage is picked up Tuesday morning (one day later on Holidays), so please have the bin at the top of the driveway on Monday night..

We enjoyed our stay so much that we are coming back in 2 weeks! We brought our boat and had a nice week tubing, playing on the beach area, and floating in the water. Fast communication as well!

The large deck provided great views of the lake/sunsets/stars! The lake is great for fishing and fun with a popular sandbar a short boat ride away! Highly recommend!

Thank you! I am so glad you had a nice time and we’re able to book for next year already!
Great as always! This was our second time here and it was even better than the first! Lots of time to relax on the boat and at the house. Hung out at the sandbar for a couple days. The house was great, has everything you need. And David was a great host and available if we had any questions or needed anything. Recommend stopping at the dog in the bank for dinner. It’s a little bit of a drive to town, but definitely worth it :-)Hoping to rent this home next summer :-)
Enjoyed everything about this location. Cottage was perfect. Lake was beautiful. Rented a boat had a blast. We fished, kayaked and tubed. So many great memories created. Cannot wait to visit again.

We found the home to be exactly as listed and very clean and welcoming. Communication with the host was easy and always helpful. Swimming in the beach area was so much fun as well as fishing from the dock! We rented a boat and used that during the week. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back!

Thank you for staying and we’re glad you had a “perfect” vacation!
This is a beautiful location. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking out on the lake. Really good communication with property manager. All of the bedding, towels, soaps were of high quality. The only downside is the water. The tap water is really hard. So, a good water softener with an iron filter would probably take care of that.I would stay there again

Thanks George. We mentioned that tap water in the description when you booked, and left extra bottled water for you. I do think adding a softener is next on our list.
Great location on the lake! Easy access to quieter areas for Kayaking. We rented a pontoon at the marina and were able to get on the water everyday. Property was clean and had all the nessesities. A very quiet and relaxing vacation. We will be back!💚

Nicely appointed older cottage. Great views of the lake from the large deck and the grounds have been well taken care of. Have kayaks and other beach and lake 'toys' which are freely made available. We would come back to stay.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad stay two was a great experience for you.
Our family had a great time on the lake. A convenient boat rental business on the lake allowed us to do tubing and a lot of fishing off the shore. The property was just as advertised and perfect for a small family. All my questions and inquiries were answered promptly. Just wish we booked a longer stay to explore more of the area!

Thank you Sandra. We are so glad you could stay for the week and enjoy the lake.
My wife and I stayed at this home for a whole week. We rented a pontoon boat from “Pine Lake Boat and Motor” and spent every day on the lake. We enjoyed the sand bars, the sunsets, the outdoor firepit, the home, the surround sound, the yard, the open communication with the host, and the food from Bill’s on the lake! Every aspect was fantastic! We will definitely be back!!!

House was clean, with all new beds and bedding, older Kitchen Aid appliances that work great!
Perfect for a single family!!
