This was the perfect vacation rental for my family. There was room for us to split up or be together and we loved being able to play on the beach every day. The host was very nice!
This was the perfect place for a large family! Hang out at the beach all day or enjoy the tons of activities close by like downtown Burlington, Stowe, the causeway etc! We loved it here! The house has everything you need to feel like you are at home while on vacation.
Great cottages, loved the lake cottages. Owner did a nice job setting all up. Nice outside area, fire pit, etc. Nothing fancy, just a great setup and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again - love the lakefront.
Our stay at the cottage was very enjoyable. Weather was great, and the water/beach at the house was very clean and clear.Only comment I’d make is the listing mentions laundry appliances under amenities. This was actually only referring to a nearby laundromat, not a washer and dryer inside the house.
We had 8 adults staying two nights for our daughter's graduation from UVM and these cottages were PERFECT! Great communication with the owner throughout the process, easy access, places were clean and well stocked. I've rented many VRBO places and these were great! Highly recommend.
This is a perfect property for two families traveling together. My sister and her family stayed in one cabin and me and my family stayed in the other. The views across the water are beautiful. The cabins were cozy and comfy with everything you need! The location was perfect for my husband and I who ran the Vermont City Marathon relay in Burlington. Highly recommend!
We had a larger group and the cottages worked out great. Center deck with grill was perfect for meals and lounging. Being right on the water with a fire was amazing at night. Easily fit 4 cars road side. Host was very accommodating. Would love to come back!
We had a fabulous time! perfect for us. not too fancy but super clean and being on the lake was beyond perfect. gorgeous sunsets, loved the grill and eating on the deck in between the cottages. it was easy to bring the linens because we drove, but that might be a consideration for anyone flying to Burlington. all in all, a great stay!
This property was just what we were looking for! We are a family with small children and were traveling with some extended family. The fact that this property was right on the water and offered some separation made our stay beyond perfect! The property owner, Michael, was very easy to communicate with and the one small issue we had was addressed right away! I highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!
This was a great house and great beach! It was perfect for our young kids. We did find a lot of glass in the sand so be careful. The water was nice and shallow so the kids could swim! They loved using the boats and fishing. Very comfortable home!! The dog had fun too! :)

Nice place to stay. Right on the lake. Basic cabins but an ideal spot. Only negative was that no bed linens or towels were provided. Nothing on the website or any communication with the owner about this. He did offer to split the cost if I wanted to go and buy sheets, pillowcases and towels. I thought it was quite bizarre that these were not provided.

Unfortunately since COVID the cleaning service stopped all linen services......if a guest needs linens we will shop around for the best service price for them...comforters, pillows, and dish towels are provided.....our policy has been updated in House Rules section to reflect this confusion...
My family very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Mike was easy to communicate with and answered all questions in a timely manner.
I wish the kitchens were better equipped. Between the 2 cottages, there were only 3 coffee mugs. The 6 adults made do without, but it would have been nice to have more mugs. Same with pots and pans.
The blinds in one bedroom don't work, so there was no privacy there. Again, not a big deal as there was no one in the cottage next door.
The lake is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do in the area. Burlington is not far so that opens up a lot of options.
These cottages are located in the perfect place! The lake was beautiful and there was plenty to do while there. Having the two cottages was a fantastic set up. The screened in porches made you feel as if you were sitting on the beach. The only negative was the lack of storage in the kitchens for food. We always bring what we need for the week and the cabinets in both kitchens were full.
Had the best time on our vacation great memories my 14 month old granddaughter loved the sandy beach and water we will be back again the sunsets at night we’re amazing
We as a family make July camping on the lake possible. Siblings, cousins, and grandparents enjoyed this camping week. The weather, the camps , lake and sunsets made this a week unbelievable , as always it just flies !
The property was exactly as advertised. Great location. Planning another stay here for next year with friends. Having the two cottages with a shared deck is a luxury that affords privacy when two families are vacationing together.
The cottages were perfect for two families of boys vacationing together. The beach was perfect for our kids ranging in age from 4 to 13. Great proximity to Burlington. Mike was a super helpful host who gave great recommendations. The cottages were well stocked and the kayaks and paddle boat were great. We had an amazing week!!
Had a wonderful time with the family. Cottages were great and the views were absolutely beautiful.
Renting was very easy. Only downfall were the stairs and the busy road. Parking was a little tight as well

About the host
Hosted by Michael Rozzi
Our family first moved to Colchester in 1971. Presently, both sons still reside in the Burlington area with Jamie Rozzi the proprietor of Rozzi's Lakeshore Tavern located right around the corner from the cottages.
Why they chose this property
Our interest in this property was its location, a private beach setting while still maximizing the benefits of the Burlington area.
What makes this property unique
There are only a handful of properties that actually have a sandy beach to utilize in Malletts Bay. The fact that we only traverse five steps is truly unique in this area. A great view and a great beach. Add a small fire pit and we enjoy the property both day and night.
