Great family holiday place! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The place has some quirky features which made it very homely. The location is very good as a starting point for either exploring lovely Black Forest villages, nearby Freiburg or walking locally. We enjoyed our stay and fully recommend it!

Lovely, spacious accommodation in a very quiet location. Well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. Excellent outdoor shaded space, with multiple seating areas. Easy to get to Freiburg and the surrounding Black Forest region. Communication with Ronny and Cindy was first class before our arrival, and they were welcoming and helpful once we we there, but definitely gave us our space

Very cute place, responsive host

Great stay in Sölden

The property was great! Nice large apartment with everything we needed. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The parking was convenient. We loved the outdoor deck spaces and sun room.

Wonderful stay in the Black Forest

Ronny and his family have created a wonderful space that is nice, clean and very functional. We had six people for our stay and were quite comfortable. Ronny had great suggestions for places to eat (Bolando and Loewen were great). The walks from Solden into the Black Forest are amazing. We had a great time!

Great apartment with wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The duvets were thick and warm. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessities. The sauna was very comfortable after a long day of hiking. FYI, the apartment does not have a living room to lounge around.

Central, clean, comfortable in the Black Forest

Nice apartment in the center of the Black Forest. Big bedrooms and nice kitchen and a nice outdoor space. The apartment is 15-30 minutes from Freiburg, Colmar and close to the lakes as well as Basel in Switzerland. After your day trips come home to a clean and comfortable home away from home.

Beautiful gem just outside of Freiburg

Beautiful apartment just outside of Freiburg. A short 15-20 min drive from Freiburg to Sölden in the Black Forest. Beautiful scenery and close enough to the city for local amenities. We absolutely fell in love with the place and location. Ronnie, the property manager is friendly and helpful and on-site to make sure your stay is perfect. We plan to return in the future. We feel like we have found a second home.

Perfect!

Ronny and his family were so terrific! Very quick to respond and with amazing suggestions as to where to dine. Our family group of 7 adults were able to hang out in the outdoor spaces as well as have our early morning coffee on the patio. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with kind neighbors and a lovely view. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will stay again if in the area. Thank you to our new friends!

Wonderful stay in Solden

We were so lucky to find such a wonderful gem for our three generation trip to Freiburg area of Germany. The apartment was well appointed and the hosts brilliant. It was difficult for us to leave! Some tips: Opfinger See (great public lake for swimming with a nice food and drink vendor), L’Alsaciette (private tour company for the Alsace wine route just over the border in France) and the sweet hike to the chapel across the way (viewable from the upstairs windows). Hopefully we’ll be back someday.

Sehr nette Vermieter, die gute Tipps für Freizeitaktivitäten gegeben haben. Das Appartement war super geeignet für unseren Familienurlaub mit Großeltern und jugendlichen Kids. Der Kaffee aus dem Vollautomaten war echt lecker, da braucht man keine eigene Maschine mitbringen.

De slaapkamers zijn absoluut superruim en je kan er ook zeker met 9 personen slapen. Je kan er zeker niet met 9 personen wonen. Je hebt geen woonkamer, de eetkamer zit gewoon in de hal. Het terras buiten is superklein. En daar waar de advertentie het heeft over de onstpanningsruimte en de sauna, daar mag je dus niet zitten of zijn. Blijkbaar is de sauna alleen te gebruiken op afspraak. De communicatie met de host was zeer onprettig. We voelden ons hier niet welkom en zijn eerder vertrokken.

We had a lovely stay in Soelden! Ronny was friendly and helped us whenever we had questions. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms had ample space and the bathrooms were also stocked. The town is beautiful and we really enjoyed the slow pace and rural lifestyle for a few days in our travels.

Wir fünf Freundinnen hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit, tolle Unterkunft und toller Service - , bequeme Betten, sehr ruhig und idyllisch, schöne Terrassen und liebevoll detaillierte Einrichtung. Wir haben viele wertvolle Restaurant- und Wander-Tipps bekommen und sogar Extrawünsche wie z.B. eine Wärmflasche wurden erfüllt.

Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und umgänglich, was uns erfreut hat. Auch die flexible an und Abreise war super. Die Lage ist relativ zentral, man kommt gut wo hin.Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich.Für 9 Personen hat sich das Haus für zu klein erwiesen. Es gab leider keinen Wohnbereich, was den Aufenthalt erschwert hat, daher hat der Komfort gefehlt hat. Und leider war im Vorfeld nicht klar, dass es eine Infrarotsauna ist.Rundum waren wir trotzdem sehr zufrieden.
