Upon arrival, guests will check-in at the resort’s front desk using their resort confirmation # just as if they had booked directly through the resort. ** Hospitality Tax and Environmental Tax
The State of Quintana Roo assesses a hospitality tax that is due upon check-out:

Studio Premium Villa: US$5.18 per night
One-Bedroom Premium Villa: US$8.76 per night
Two-Bedroom Lockoff Villa: US$13.95 per night

Great place to visit during the holidays.

The resort was wonderful. We did a few day trips fishing and to Tulum and my family really enjoyed the freedom to have excursions as compared to an all-inclusive resort. The nearby restaurants were great and there is a supermarket within a 1/2 mile. We loved it and loved the weather.

Great resort, great location!

I was hesitant to stay in the “hotel zone”, as I was uncertain what type of atmosphere it wud have. However, it turned out to be the perfect location! Choosing not to stay in an all inclusive was the best thing for us, as we got to sample all the wonderful restaurants in the zone. The property had all the Westin amenities, amazing bed and pillows, robes, and great towels. The staff is so pleat and helpful. Happy hour by the pool starts at 3! great vacation!

Cancun over the thanksgiving weekend

Very nice resort , friendly people. Would be perfect if it was all inclusive . Little problem with the exact dates as we started getting calls to check out one day earlier but got it fixed by showing them the reservation details .

Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort was perfect for our family

We had a terrific vacation at this resort. The ocean is steps away, and the pools were wonderful. It was easy to be outside and avoid crowds in the time of Covid. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. You might want to bring your own spices, and sleeping on the hideaway beds was comfortable, but minimal privacy.

Home away from home

Every amenity is available. You will notice that the resort is pristine every where you look. Staff is helpful in a perfect way not annoying. You feel tge staff genuinely wants to make your stay perfect. The studio room come with a kitchenette so if you choose you can cook. There is a queen size bed and sleeper sofa area. Well appointed bathroom. The one bedroom comes with a full kitchen with a dishwasher and eat in living room. King size bed and huge bathroom. Both rooms come with a washer dryer. "Hello"...pack less more room for souvenirs and with all the restrictions this is a great feature. You can use one suitcase. The detergent is supplied. There are big gas grills to cook on. In the city of Cancun there is a Costco and mega store pelican symbol next door to Costco. The vegetables are so very fresh. There is also a grocery cheddareu - grocery on the isle so you don't have to go in the city. It's fun to go in the city keep that in mind. This resort is located perfectly for walking to shopping and restaurants if you wish to walk. The beach is perfection and the waves are beautiful. Breakfast at Oceano is either aka carte or buffet. We do aka carte buffet is a lot of food. Delicious but a lot. Good coffee. Breakfast is our vacation treat. We cook most of the time just st 3 dinners out. Lunch in the room and maybe one day at the beach. You can make it your vacation with all the options. The pools are huge and everything is so well maintained. There is a small Mayan ruin on property it gives a great feeling that you are sharing in the beauty the Mayans saw. There is a dessert shop in La Isla called Cocoa ( co cow) the chocolate frappe drinks are the best tasting rich chocolate you will have. Enjoy one. As with any vacation it all ends to soon. Just a note we have been traveling to Cancun for 30 years and have seen many changes and growth. It has not lost it's charm and we always stay in the Zona Hotelera for all the conveniences but not a crowded feel. Paradise. Enjoy!
