Het huis met grote tuin, weids uitzicht en ruime parkeergelegenheid ligt prachtig iets hoger, aan de rand van Guise. De bakker, een kleine supermarkt en andere winkels zijn op loopafstand. Aline had bij aankomst de deur voor ons open gelaten.De woning heeft een ruime woonkamer, keuken en badkamer. Deze, en het toilet, allen gelegen op de begane grond. Op de eerste verdieping zijn drie slaapkamers. Aangezien wij wat langer dan gemiddeld zijn (2.05) waren de bedden voor ons wat aan de korte kant. In de kelder bevind zich de ‘sportkamer’ en de wasmachine en droger. De trap naar zowel de bovenverdieping als de kelder zijn steil en smal en kunnen voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn als vervelend worden ervaren, mede omdat het toilet zich op de begane grond bevindt. In de informatiemap die zich in het huis bevind, word aangegeven dat het een en ander aan vervanging toe is en binnenkort gerenoveerd wordt.Aline reageerd snel en behulpzaam op onze vragen. Wij hebben (3 personen en onze kat) ruim twee weken een heerlijk verblijf gehad, waarvoor dank Aline.
