The property is clean and comfortable. It is very well maintained and spacious. The owner has done an A+++ job decorating the home. You feel like you’re sitting in a magazine picture.
The home was very clean, very nice. Location was in the center of everything for us. Downtown was one direction and Auke Bay in the other with local places to eat and shopping near by. Loved our stay!
This house was beautiful and so clean! I’ve never had such a clean Vrbo! Owner super prompt and professional with questions. Would love you stay at this home again!
We had a full house and this home did not disappoint! We could not have asked for a better location, neighborhood, and accommodations. I highly recommend staying here is your in Juneau with a big group. It will be worth every penny!
We took our family of 13 to Alaska and thoroughly enjoyed Kayla's beautiful home in Mendenhall Valley. It was the nicest, best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. Kayla was very responsive and thorough. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone considering visiting Juneau!
The Juneau house was clean, spacious and welcoming. The host provided some games appropriate for all ages. The bedrooms are on the upper level. This feature allowed the adults to stay up after the childrens bedtime. The host was friendly and answered my questions promptly. If you are in Juneau and can go up and down steps, I highly recommed this location.
This place was so amazing to stay at with a large group. 10 of us were here and never had any issues. Comfortable beds, nice areas to hang out both inside and out. Well stocked kitchen for cooking needs. We would definitely stay here again! Close to airport and Mendenhall Valley. We spent equal time in auke Bay and Juneau so this was perfectly in between. Don't pass this up if you have a larger group!!
We were in town for a Family Wedding. The grooms’ Sister, Aunties and Uncles all were impressed with their stay.
Everyone said “Wow” when they entered the house.
Other feedback from the most persnickety family member included “This is perfect for us”, “Everything is SO clean” , and “This place is the (family) group hug we needed”.
Worth every penny for a Family stay in Juneau.
Your house in Juneau was perfect for our girls trip, and it exceeded all our expectations! The six bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for our group of eight. The living room was cozy and inviting, making it easy to relax and watch TV together after a day of exploring.
The kitchen was a highlight, equipped with all the modern amenities and plenty of space for us to cook and hang out together. The location was ideal—set in a safe, quiet neighborhood, yet just a short drive to downtown and the airport.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable stay in Juneau.
We enjoy this property with friends when we come to JNU to ski in the winter. It is spacious for our large group. The only issue we have ever had is limited hot water. You better be one of the first 3 to shower or it gets cold. We highly recommend this property.
The house was perfect for our work trip! 6 ladies, 6 rooms. The little touches like the black make up hand towels and a fully stocked kitchen were unexpected. Loved the digital screen with all the info on display. Kayla was very communicative and responded quickly when I had a question. We would love to come back every year when we come back to Juneau for work. Thank you!!!
The house had been recently renovated and was immaculate. Their was ample room for our family of 16. With 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, we were able to be comfortable.
The communication with the owner was excellent. She would get back with me in hours, not days. She was able to provide
information on excursions, restaurants, events and even a photographer.
The location was great as it was close to hiking trails, the Mendenhall glacier, excursion boat docks, and the airport.
In summary, it was excellent!
One of the nicest homes we have stayed in. Excellent location, we wanted to be in a quieter area and closer to the Glacier. Peaceful neighborhood. The sleeping arraignments worked out perfect for our group, tons of sleeping space and an accurate description. Kayla was beyond helpful. She definitely went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. We had a surprise engagement and she graciously accepted a grocery delivery and offered up numerous suggestions for the surprise. The house was spotless and stocked with many amenities. A major bonus was the steam shower!!! Life Changing. Thank you Kayla for kicking off a once in a lifetime trip to Alaska. We appreciate all you did for us Wish we could rate you higher than a five star!
Great location, quiet neighborhood. The home itself was beautiful, updated and well stocked with basic needs. Kitchen is well stocked and we loved the pellet stove! Such a beautiful, clean, cozy home to stay in.
The house was absolutely amazing! Every final detail has been thought of, the kitchen is fully stocked with all the dishes/pans etc you need, beautifully decorated with pictures/items from Alaska, comfortable beds, communication with property manager was great, she was very helpful. The property manager even leaves complimentary water and local coffee (so good) to enjoy during the stay! The neighborhood appeared to be a family neighborhood and it felt safe. The kids loved the fenced in playground and would be playing for hours because the sun sets so late. Overall, the best house we have stayed at. We would totally stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay here. The layout was great for a large group. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable, welcoming common spaces, and lots of really thoughtful touches for adults and children. The hosts have clearly put a lot of effort into making this a first class stay.
We have rented VRBOO properties for years for family vacations. Simply put this is the best experience we’ve ever ever had. The house is beyond expectations. Beautifully laid out beautiful accoutrements plenty of space for 14to sleep comfortably I wish we could go back every year. Thank you to the host for sharing their beautiful home with us.
Everything was very easy, very simple. They have everything you need at this home. You don't have to go anywhere or remember to bring anything. The thought process is thoughtless they have a wonderful easy check in check out system. Easy entry into the home and all of the wonderful things that you don't even think of that you need once you get on vacation to make your stay truly feel like you are at your own home.
We had a great time visiting with our children in Juneau. This property was really the best VRBO we have ever rented. It was newly remodeled. The beds and linens were super comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare
And cook a few meals. Lots of extras like laundry soap, water and coffee. The Steam shower was also a great hit! Close proximity to town, airport and ski area. Really, no complaints at all!!
First off, it was a pleasure to have been the first guest in this newly remodeled home. There was so much room even my group of guys felt there was always something more to experience. Tip: check out the tower… good spot for morning coffee. The host was very quick to respond to my inquiry and that was a plus considering this was a last minute run up to AK to catch the big snow that came in.
The host had it stocked and ready for morning coffee, which was a plus. The kitchen was a great set up for us to cook breakfast and hit the slopes. Came back down and cranked the pellet stove to get cozy and made a big dinner after a long day of riding, all while we checked out our footage on the huge tv in the living room and relaxed.
It was so nice to get a place where we all had our own rooms, and it didn’t hurt that there was 3 full bathrooms upstairs as well. Everyone said they slept great. I had the master, and if I could take that bed home with me I would have. BIG plus…. Steam shower!! I hit that every night, talk about relaxing… amazing experience!
I will definitely be staying here again when I end up back in Juneau and big thanks to the host for all the help and last minute booking.
