Aloha and welcome to the sunny south shore of the majestic island of Kaua'i where Kiahuna Plantation Beach Home #64 awaits you! Relish lush tropical grounds, orchid gardens, and at the ocean's edge: beautiful Kiahuna Beach- a golden crescent known for its calm clear waters.

This beautiful two-story Hawaiian plantation-style corner-unit home features a spacious and comfortable open-concept living area on the second floor with tree-top views of the immaculate grounds and gardens. Vaulted ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, two covered balcony lanais and seating for 6 in both the living and dining areas make this a wonderful place to entertain or relax after the day's adventures. There is a queen-size sleeper sofa on the top floor as well. To enjoy this home fully, guests must be able to climb the stairs to the main living area.

Downstairs, the Primary Bedroom features a Cal King bed, ensuite bath with walk-in shower, and private patio! The second bedroom has two twin beds which can be configured as a king with advance notice. The second bathroom downstairs includes both a soaking tub and separate shower. This home also features its own washer and dryer downstairs for your convenience. While there is no A/C, the ingenious reverse floor plan keeps the bedrooms cool downstairs while upstairs is designed to catch tropical ocean breezes from two separate lanais on opposite ends of the open living area.

Smart TVs, Blu-ray/DVD player, WIFI, books, board games, beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas are all provided in the home for guests to use during their stay. Enjoy our membership access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (right across the street) to lounge at the swimming pool, play a game of tennis and dine at the Cabana Bar and Grill.

Surfing, snorkeling, beach walking, paddle-board rental and more are all available right on the property. Kiahuna Beach is just about 640 ft. from #64. Beach Hut can provide everything you need for the beach: towels, chairs, sunscreen, snorkel gear, even sandcastle building supplies. Well maintained gas grills and picnic areas are also conveniently located for your use. While #64 has its own washer and dryer, there are also coin-op laundry facilities elsewhere on the resort property for guest use as well.

Shopping, art galleries, golf, hiking, beaches, and a variety of dining options are all located within a roughly 3-mile mile radius. Ready to explore more? Helicopter Tours, Sunset Sails along the breathtaking Napali Coast, Kayak Adventures to Waterfalls, Deep Sea Fishing, Zipline, Horseback Riding, Waimea Canyon and Spouting Horn are all waiting for you on the Garden Isle. While you can relax endlessly just enjoying the resort, we do recommend renting a car to enjoy the island more fully.

Overall it's a nice property, although a bit dated. There is no air-conditioning which I probably missed on the listing details. The pool is across the road in another venue, which I also probably missed on the listing details.

Great Tropical Townhome
My wife and our three children, (8 months, 3, and 7) stayed here for 10 days and it was great! I definitely would've given it 5 stars, but it doesn't have AC and that's just the only negative about it. We just jumped into the warm tropical environment as a part of the trio's experience and the breeze blowing through was great, but it definitely is uncomfortable at night sometimes. Everything else was great about it though! The huge lawn and gigantic beautiful tree right in front of it is and under sold and awesome facet of this townhome. Our kids had an absolute blast playing and exploring there every morning and evening, and I would definitely look at coming back to this resort again.

We loved our stay at this property. The interior was spacious, the kitchen well stocked, and finishings lovely. We loved having the huge grassy lawn just out the bedroom for our four year old to run wild. It was a perfect place to return to after a day at the beach (all walkable from the resort). The pool club across the street was a great place when the little ones needed a break from the beach–and the parents were rewarded with great food and drinks in a lovely kid-friendly environment. We can't wait to return!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was in a great location. It was a little tired and we had a few hiccups but they were quickly addressed by the management company. I do wish we had received at least a linen change during our 10 days stay as we have with other managements. Overall a great spot!
