The Neighborhood:
San Marco is a neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida, south of Downtown across the St. Johns River. The neighborhood was formerly the independent city of South Jacksonville until it was annexed by Jacksonville in 1932. The neighborhood is primarily residential, with an integrated commercial sector known as San Marco Square.
Getting Around:
This home has great walkability to a lot of bars, restaurants and other activities. However if you are wanting to go a little further Uber is always available and parking is free in most areas.

Heath, safety, and wellbeing of our guests are of utmost importance to us. For this reason, we use a thorough and extensive process of cleaning after each check-out.
We charge a pet fee of $75 per stay for two pets maximum. This increases to $150 / week and $200 / month for longer term guests. Please submit a special offer with this additional fee included through the platform when you book the unit for more than 7 nights.
*If you neglect to inform us ahead of time that you are bringing a pet with you than we reserve the right to either TERMINATE your stay early or charge an additional $100 on top of the original pet fee.
The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (we often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):
1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $50
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $100
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $200
These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes our cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which we hold them to.
REFUND DISCLAIMER:
Please note that if a refund is issued for your booking, the processing fee of 3.9% will not be refunded. The refunded amount will be the total paid minus the 3.9% processing fee per Stripe’s return policy. This applies to direct bookings and bookings made through VRBO. Thank you for your understanding.

●No garage access. For liability reasons, per our insurance we must keep the garage doors closed. Why you may ask? In the past year we have had garage doors ran into, hit by trucks, fall off the tracks, and even our garage door motor knocked off the ceiling by a vehicle. Each time is generally a $1500+ fix.
● You must be 21 years of age or older to book a reservation, and an individual who is 21 years of age or older must be present throughout the duration of the reservation.
● Please no eating or drinking in the bedrooms (closed water bottles are an exception). Additional cleaning fees to remove food/drink stains will apply.
● Please no smoking on the property. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtray provided on the front
patio. An additional fee to remove stains/odors from cigarettes will apply. (smoke is really hard to get out)
● Pick up all trash before departing. Place all garbage in an outside trash can.
● Please wash all dishes. If the dishwasher was used, please run and unload the dishwasher prior to
departure.
● Do not open the windows. This is due to the extra security measures we have installed.
●Do not overload the washer/dryer. Do not wash sandy beach items or towels in the units. Empty the dryer lint trap after EVERY USE. Additional fees will apply if units are damaged due to improper use.
● The storage room is to remain closed at all times.
● Consumables such as condiments or snacks may be left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests’
discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility
for the consumables.
● Please do not rearrange the furniture.
● If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in additional cleaning or
maintenance required, guests will be responsible for additional cleaning charges. In the unfortunate
event that neighbors are disturbed, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY
IMMEDIATELY.

Super easy to get to & check in. Very easily walkable to the center town of San Marco with many cute shops, coffee spots & restaurants. House had comfy beds & a large living area to chill in. Overall great host & place to stay for a fun weekend getaway.
Everything was lovely and easy. The hosts checked in to make sure everything was going well. The house has a lot of character and it's in a great location! Would definitely stay there again.
Very nice property and City, plenty of space and very clean. Communication with the Host was very good. Will be returning to this property when I come back to San Marco.
Perfect location nice and quiet not far from the football stadium and eating places. The was clean and had everything we needed the only thing i would say is needed is replacing of the broken blinds that was already broken.
Everything about our stay was exactly as advertised!
The TVs were a bit of a challenge for my father to operate, but we worked it out.
Lastly, but most importantly…the beds were the most comfortable we’ve experienced in any place not our home, EVER!! A+

San Marco cutie
Cute little home with many rooms. Short walk to San Marco square area. Interesting neighborhood to walk around, with nice park nearby. Appreciate that it was dog friemdly, only wish the backyard was fenced all the way around.
3 of us came to visit our friend, who works for Jumbo Shrimp. Proximity to downtown, nearby food and stadium was excellent. Only downside is the untimely trains. But nothing they could do about this.
The place was clean and nice. Perfect for what we needed. Located 5 minutes away from downtown. Publix is a 5 minute walk. One thing is the train the goes by late hours of night. But it went by quick and we got used to it. Would totally stay there again.
I was in town for business but needed to take my dog so a house was preferable. The place was perfect. Everything was clean and organized. The main bedroom has an adjacent huge office area. The owners were very helpful.
My only minor negative comment is I wish the yard was fully fenced.
This location is ideal and the house is super cute with all the amenities you need. We stayed here for a business trip and it was perfect for our needs. I made an error when booking and booked the wrong dates - arrived at the airport and realized the error. Made a quick phone call to VRBO who gave me the contact number of the host and they were kind enough to change the dates. No hassle at all. I will definitely stay here again when in Jax.
Nothing too fancy. AC was a blessing for us northerners. Good location to stores and shops and the venue for graduation. House is older, but well kept. The ice dispenser in the fridge wasn't working, but you could still get the ice from inside.
Older well kept house. Backs up to a school and nice redone house in upward transitioning neighborhood. We walked to the small business district where we ate. Beds were comfortable as was the sitting area. The kitchen was not too well stocked with cooking item so best be looking to eat out. No grill and outside porch is small. Claw foot tub is a challenge getting in and out and there is no rubber mat to keep you from slipping.
This was a great little house. Very close to the city. Close to shopping and the quaint places to eat are within walking distance. The center of San Marco had a little gazebo and benches, within walking distance from the house.
The thermostat took a little getting used to. We’re old school and it’s high tech. It kept turning itself to the preset settings all by itself. We would wake up freezing in the middle of the night. We finally figured it out though. 😆
It was a great place to stay for spring break. 💕
We recently traveled to San Marco/Jacksonville, FL for a few days. We had a really nice trip. Our hosts were attentive, friendly and pleasant. The house was very nice. The kitchen is well done, the dining room and living room were very nice. There were 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a laundry and an extra room. All were clean and well kept. Frankly, I hated to come home. The neighbors were friendly. We had our small dog with us and I felt safe walking him on all but 1 street. The house is walking distance from several restaurants and a Publix. When we return to San Marco I hope this property is available.
This is an older neighborhood that appears to be undergoing a resurgence and facelift. The property has a great location, walkable to coffee shops, restaurants and San Marco square. Cute shops and restaurants. Older home that has been restored. Property manager was very responsive.
We had a great stay at this San Marco bungalow. It was clean, inviting, and beautifully decorated. It had claw foot tubs in both bathrooms and all the little extras. The owners were very attentive and responsive. Not only would I highly recommend staying there but we will be going back!
