Camp Verde is located on Interstate 17, 90 minutes north from the Phoenix area, an hour from Flagstaff, Prescott and Payson and less than 40 minutes to beautiful Sedona. Camp Verde is a is a great place to visit and is centrally located for many attractions that are sure to satisfy all interests and all ages.

Camp Verde is the gateway to the Verde Valley wine country, with wineries, vineyards and tasting rooms spread throughout the area. The 104-acre Out of Africa is one of the most unique wildlife parks (don’t call it a zoo!) in the country and the perfect place to bring the family. Cliff Castle Casino has been rated as the state’s best casino for over a decade, not just for its gaming and entertainment, but because it also offers venues for the entire family.

Head into town and visit area antique stores or stop in for a bite to eat at any of the local restaurants.

Our home is fully equipped with the basic amenities to make your stay feel like you are 'at home'! We are on the 'unplugged' side of life, as we don't have cable, but do have WiFi available for streaming, as well as a DVD player, some family games and books. The perfect place to relax and spend quality time with loved ones!

Head into town and visit the many antiques stores or stop in for a bite to eat at any of the local restaurants.

The property also has one RV spot with full hookups! Available for an additional fee, per rental basis.

The home is an open concept floor plan, great for the family to gather.

The Primary Bedroom is spacious, with a king size bed and en suite.

For those that need a remote workspace while still on vacation, a small office is set up (in the Primary Bedroom) with dual monitors, a keyboard and mouse, and is ready to hook up to your laptop.

There are 2 other bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, and usb charging ports for your electronics.

The hall bathroom is shared by the 2 guest bedrooms.

Large front deck with patio seating to relax and enjoy the scenery.

This is a paradise in progress! We love to come here with our family and area always adding improvements to the home!

We are in a rural area, with neighbors that have dogs. You will hear them occasionally during the day, if you walk by the perimeter fence line.

Renters are responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.

Nice and quiet home! Fully equipped everything! Clean and comfortable!

My husband and his painting crew stayed 4 night at this home. The had plenty of space for truck and trailer, was near job site. Beautiful patios so when they guys got home they can relax. We for sure will rent again!

A Great Location

Camp Verde was a great location for exploring various places of interest within a1-1/2 drive or less, going East, South, West, or North. The house was very clean and new, all the amenities one could want. The owners were very responsive and helpful when we needed some medical advice. Quick to respond.

We loved our stay at this property! It was perfect for our family of four. The house feels new, clean and very well cared for. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, there was plenty of space for me and my husband and our two teenage boys to spread out in the living area. If it had been a little warmer I'm sure we would have spent a lot of time out on the spacious front porch as well! The kitchen was huge and well stocked with everything we needed and the large dining table was perfect for meals and board games. There were lots of little touches we appreciated like the shelves by the back door to put shoes on when we got back from hiking. The location of the property was great, very close to Montezuma Castle and convenient to the highway while still being quiet and peaceful at night.Finally, Greg and Darlene were amazing hosts! The communication with them was very easy, they gave us all the information we needed to check into the house and they reached out a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was going alright.We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the beautiful Verde Valley!

Perfect Home in a Great Location

Our family had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at this home. This home is in a peaceful location and close to many must see attractions. The hosts were pleasant and easily accessible; they even offered information for nearby attractions. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had any gadget or dish we could possibly need. The welcome cookies were a nice, personal touch. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Fabulous home away from home

Lovely home and property that was exactly what we needed. The trip was for an extended family birthday and anniversary party. Three generations drove down together and we needed a weekend home to accommodate a group of 6 from age 60 to age 2. This home was exactly perfect for our needs! So well set up and comfortable, best set up kitchen yet, it was like being at home and gave us the space to get away from the party as needed and be present for each other. 5 of the 6 had never used a Vrbo before and all are vowing to use one again on their next trip! Highly recommend this lovely home away from home!

Our stay at The Stagecoach Retreat

The view was excellent, the home was much more than I had anticipated everything was just perfect. The only sounds I heard was an occasional dog bark but I hear that at home. Quiet and secluded. I only saw one neighbor one time and she was very friendly. The property is completely fenced. One way in and out, that can be a plus. The access lock for your code requires a bit of patience. There is a key in the dish under the TV in the great room that works the door lock in the utility room. We used that entrance exclusively during our stay. Every thing was perfect. Bring your suitcases and food. you should be pleased with the rental. It was everything I had hoped for and more.

A great hub

This is a great hub for visiting a lot of the nearby activities. We were able to go to Montezuma’s Castle and Wells, Prescott, Sedona and Out of Africa to name a few. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. We felt very welcomed with a wonderful plate of cookies and the owners were available if needed. It gets our recommendation.

Great home for a vacation near Sedona area.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property over 15 years ago, and didn't start to build till 2016. Since then, we call it our 'Paradise in Progress'! Every trip down, we have made some improvement to the house or property to what you see today! We have many plans to truly make it a relaxing retreat for all who come.
