This newer constructed 3-bedroom cottage is styled in the classic, coastal low-country design that was popular throughout the South in the 1800s. Before air conditioning and electricity, the dogtrot design was created with large, open breezeways and several windows on all sides (don't worry, the A/C and heat work great!). This allowed homeowners to take advantage of the cross breezes which optimized airflow throughout the home. The breezeway was often the coolest spot in the house and where their canine companion was likely most often found and the inspiration for the name.

Enjoy this historically-styled accommodation with modern amenities and appliances! Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, with 2 bedrooms on one side and another bedroom/bathroom and kitchen + living room on the opposite. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your time on the marsh.

Your reservations include the use of the Emma's Driftwood Farm communal pool & screened-in pool house. Relax under dangling moss and take in the views of the marsh, or take a dip in the pool, heated for year-round enjoyment.

Available for rent by guests who have booked accommodations and are exclusively staying at Emma's Driftwood Farm. Driftwood Hall offers large open common dining, or corporate and family meeting space, and or entertainment space, in a central location on the Farm and in a climate-controlled beautiful building with views of the marsh and oaks to one side and the organic farm to the other.
