Bijzonder, leuk en mooi om in dit kasteel op de begane grond van de torenkamer te mogen overnachten. Wij waren er 3 nachten in de bijzonder fraai ingerichte kamer en badkamer die van alle gemakken voorzien is. De koelte van de kamer is door de dikke muren van het kasteel zeker in deze zomer verrassend. De omgeving is verre van toeristisch. Rond de kleine plaatsjes zijn prachtige wandelingen uitgezet. Afwisselend bos,weilanden en beekjes en rivieren. Totale rust. De kinderen van de kasteelheer zijn het fijne aanspreekpunt en ook de kasteelheer is in het weekend actief. Leuk dat ze gedurende de zomervakantie bij de oude watermolen op het terrein van donderdag tot en met zondag borrelplanken met vlees en vissalades en vele drankjes serveren in de open lucht. Op de avond dat wij daar waren, waren we de enige 2 toeristen temidden van de vele franse families die hiervan gebruik maakten. Zeer smakelijk gegeten en gedronken. Spreekt bovenstaande je aan en ben je in de buurt ,dan zouden wij zeggen, gewoon een paar daagjes boeken en voel je als een kasteel dame en heer in Frankrijk. Henk en Hedwig uit Chaam in Nederland
