Our family enjoyed this property with all of its unique indoor and outdoor spaces. In addition to the plentiful space inside, we enjoyed having great sitting areas outside. We are also a cooking family, so we appreciated having a kitchen stocked with pots, pans and tools as well as a gas grill. This enabled us to fix a near-gourmet meal for ourselves as well as friends and family who live nearby. We hope to return to this property in the future.
The property is in a great location to enjoy much needed down time with family. Located in the woods, with plenty of deer that visit daily, it’s a quick drive to Jordan Lake and Pittsboro (and about 30 mins to Raleigh). The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. My kids enjoyed the walkout basement area while I enjoyed sitting on the swing and reading.
We stayed for four nights at this home and it was an amazing stay! The home is absolutely gorgeous and super clean, and the hostess had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable.
We had a power outage the second night of our stay because of storms, and the hostess brought over candles and lights to make sure we could still navigate the home in the dark. She really handled that situation well, which shows how great of a hostess she is.
The home itself is gorgeous and really comfortable to hang out in and watch the deer and other wildlife go by. And the hostess
also accepts dogs which is a major ‘plus’ since I didn’t want to leave furkid behind.
Overall we had an amazing stay thanks to our hostess and we will definitely stay there again!
