Cozy, modern 1-bedroom guest suite with backyard ocean view!

Fall in love with this modern & sunny, 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with walk-in shower, refrigerator, TV, coffee/tea, & fast internet.

First-floor unit (430 sq ft) with private entrance has views of nature & access to a peaceful backyard—steps from an awe-inspiring view of the Pacific Ocean.

This one-of-a-kind, tranquil getaway offers the best of the Bay Area at your fingertips! Walk to hiking trails, drive 5-min. to the beach, & 20-min. to San Francisco or SFO airport.

We look forward to your stay with us at Linda Vista del Mar (beautiful view of the sea)! We want to do everything we possibly can to ensure you have a great experience staying with us, so it's important that you understand the setup:

The private entrance guest suite is located downstairs in our 2-story home. My partner and I live upstairs and we both work from home. We are in our 40s-50s with 4 cats, no kids. See profile for more on us. We don't wear shoes in the house and don't party. And sorry folks, no parties allowed in the unit.

We have insulated the unit but this is shared living so you will hear some noise transfer. Your bedroom is below our kitchen and your living room is below our living room (and Charlene works in there--my office is on the other side of the house). The bedroom is on the street side. It has a double-paned window but you can hear cars (most through traffic during commute hours). Our bedroom is also on the street side but on second floor on other side of the house.

No pets allowed. No kids. We unfortunately cannot accommodate children because the unit and the backyard are not set up for them due to sharp edges, no childproof cabinets, unfenced hillside, ceramics, etc.

Please clean any dirty dishes and you can leave wet items on the drying pad (available in the drawer). No need to strip the bed.
We'll take care of the recycling, compost and trash. If things are overfull, you can put them in the appropriate color-coded bins outside along the walkway.
Before you leave, be sure to DOUBLE CHECK for belongings like chargers, tablets, gold coins, and toiletries to avoid the mailing costs of getting things back to you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No parties. Period. Please be quiet and respectful, at all times. We live here, share our backyard with you, and have neighbors, some with children.
Obtain permission before bringing any guests to the house. No pets allowed. No smoking (any substance), including in the backyard.
Help us protect the environment: Please conserve water and electricity and minimize waste. Separate food waste/compostables, recyclables, and trash.

The hosts werr very welcoming and responsive. The place was very modern and well apointed. The kitchen was just perfect as was everything else in the place. Very spacious and clean shower. We loved the entrance through the secreat garden with an amazing view of the ocean and sunset. I would highly recomend tbis place. Book it soon you won't be sorry.

Such a cute little get away!

The place was super cute and quiet. I loved hanging out in the garden area and looking at all the cool little succulents, & the kitties were a nice bonus. The view was gorgeous when it wasn’t foggy, and I’d totally stay here again.

Amazing Views - Relaxing Stay!

My husband and I needed a few days out of our loud neighborhood in SF. This cozy cottage, overlooking the ocean was just what we needed. The cottage has everything you need from heaters, to coffee and soft towels. Communication was very clear with the owners from key pad entry instructions to checkout. Street parking was safe and easy!

Our second stay and it was great...just like the first time.

Excellent, communicative hosts. Suite is perfect for couples visiting the area. Easy access to San Francisco and the beaches. Pacifica is a cool little town. Very laid back. Backyard has an unbelievable view of the ocean and mountains. Our son lives nearby and we'll stay here when we visit.

The owner was very accommodating and communication was excellent. Property was as-described and good for a single or couple. Convenient access to the beach, restaurants and and to San Francisco. Our son lives nearby and this was our home base while we were visiting. We'll stay here again.

California Dreamin'

When planning an anniversary trip, we were determined to get out of the city and out of a hotel. After searching for properties, I kept coming back to this one - and I am so glad I did! The previous reviews are all spot on and the exterior views are breathtaking. Mike and Charlene paid fantastic attention to detail throughout this downstairs "resort", and the succulent garden in the back was just an extra perk for two plant lovers. Ease of check-in and instruction access were ideal. We felt at home all week. Whether you are looking to be near, but outside of San Francisco for a quick stop-in or are taking a drive down Hwy 1, I would recommend a stay at this beautiful property. Can't wait to return for a visit!

Weekend Getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend. Mike and Charlene were very very nice and excellent hosts! The property was beautiful and the room was nice, clean, and modern. The location was also great, it was super close to everything. We drove 10 minutes max to get to everything. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in this area again! 10/10!!

FLAWLESS EXPERIENCE

The location of this humble abode was absolutely breathtaking! The view was stunning, the accommodation was a perfect size for my partner and I who were celebrating my birthday. Piece of paradise by San Francisco

We loved our stay in this cozy and comfortable 1 bedroom mini apartment woth everything you need and an awe inspiring view of the ocean in Pacifica. We felt right at home and appreciate the details and clear communication by the owner, Mike. A personal note and a bottle of wine greeted us upon our arrival (to celebrate our honeymoon). We enjoyed coffee with wildflowers at our feet and an amazing ocean view. This location was a perfect escape and allowed us to enjoy the peaceful coast as well as the city attractions of San Francisco just a short drive away. Fell in love with the pictures of this place immediately, and let me tell you, they dont do it justice! Not only was the view breathtaking, Mike and Charlene were so kind and welcoming, were easy to communicate with, and left clear instructions. They even left us a sweet note and a bottle of wine for when we arrived. The space was clean and comfy, and they had it stocked with all the little ammenities and important things. They thought of everything! Long story short, one of the best experiences we have had -- do yourself a favor and book it!

It was our shared love of nature that brought me and Charlene to this magical spot in Pacifica. If you love breathtaking views, native plants and succulents (Charlene is a succulent addict :), then you'll love our backyard! We truly enjoy having others experience the connection to nature we have here everyday.
