It fit our needs, we were ven dors at Ashley for the Arts. We didn't spend any time there. It was a bit pricey for a bedroom and a bathroom. Getting in and out of the clawfoot tub was a challenge without anything to hold onto. Very clean, basic accomidations.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, communication
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
My complaint about this stay was only with the condition of the room. More specifically things like the wall paper with cracks and trim molding cracked in places. I understand the nostalgia of the place as I grew up in the area and am aware it is a historical landmark. But it just seem a detail like that can be fixed without compromising lore of the place. The check-in, the cleanliness of the room was not a problem. Everything worked, but just spend some money on the repairing the decor.
Although the unit is small, it has everything you could want for 2 people. All windows look out on Lake Superior. There’s patio furniture just outside too. Entry is with 2 keypads. It’s near great parks and also near two good places to eat and a gas station and a small grocery store. Great location on the North Shore!
The property is older and furnishings dated, but it's functional, excellent location between Tofte and Lutsen, and right on the lake! The common areas are nice, including a roof top terrace that overlooks the lake. Giving the property a 4 because the cable tv wasn't working (although we weren't there for tv anyway). We were there for hiking and waterfalls.
