Wonderful Stay, Stylish Apartment, Highly Recommended

This stylish apartment exceeded our expectations. it could not be closer to the old town and it was a wonderful authentic French experience. Note The front door can be a little tricky to open but once you get it , its easy.

Highly recommend -excellent !

We stayed here with my friend and absolutely loved it! Perfect location in the heart of Rouen — quiet, sunny, and beautifully decorated. The apartment is spacious, with two bedrooms, very clean, and full of thoughtful details. Communication was excellent — fast, friendly, and everything was perfectly organized. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need (and even more — oil, salt, pepper, utensils, dishes). It’s on the first floor without an elevator, but the stairs are very convenient. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Three-week stay reviewLocation: Excellent — minutes from Rouen's historic center.Noise (major issue):    •    On a busy two-way road into the historic district, near a four-lane commuter route    •    Heavy foot traffic and late-night bar activity below    •    Frequent motorcycle/car noise, including engines revving at night    •    No A/C — windows must stay open, letting street noise in    •    Repeated late-night neighbor parties, one until 4 a.m.; other residents pounded on walls with no effectOwner communication: Messages unanswered for days; repeated US-to-France calls not returned. Changed arrival date within the refund window, was told we'd be refunded — two months later, still nothing.Apartment condition:    •    Living room has architectural charm — the one high point    •    Furnishings, linens, and general upkeep worn and dated    •    Bedding: arrived to a bare bottom sheet and empty duvet cover, had to request more; pillows thin and worn    •    Towels: only one per person for three weeks, requiring constant washing/air-drying    •    No shower gel, dish soap, paper towels, trash bags, or laundry detergent on arrival    •    Windows/shutters visibly dirty despite daily opening — cleaned them ourselves    •    Saw a mouse run across the living roomBalcony: Despite posted no-smoking rules — a wine bottle full of cigarette butts, an ashtray with more, and a box of trash; butts were wet and foul-smelling. Cleaned it out ourselves.Bottom l
