Perfection in the alps

We fell in love with Sudtirol ! The house and location were absolutely perfect. Every amenity and luxury you can think of. The view, the quiet and clean air are priceless. The location is fantastic as well. Easy walk to St. Paul for food and groceries however the highlight of this property is for sure Martina, the owner. She was so helpful with recommendations and they were all spot on. Truly kind and warm in every way, making our stay special. We will be coming back for sure for a longer stay!!

Fantastic House in a great location

When we arrived late on Saturday the owners met us with a welcome pack as the shops are closed on Sunday. They continued throughout our week there to be very helpful in giving us travel and restaurant tips. The house is stunning with a great pool and jacuzzi as well as lovely outdoor space. It is truly a five star property. From the house you can easily walk into the small town where there are shops and restaurants. There are many interesting places to see in the rea and we felt a week was not enough. The scenery fro the house and in the local area is breathtaking.

Gorgeous home in a perfect location.

Villa Aich was the perfect spot for our family of 3 adults and 3 teens. We came to the area to explore the beautiful towns of Sud Tyrol during Christmas and found that this location made accessing the highway very easy. In the evenings, we were able to walk or short drive to a number of very good restaurants in the village as well as enjoy the St. Paul's co-op winery and a nice grocery. The town of St. Paul's is darling and a nice escape from the larger cities in the area. The home is beautiful, modern and with all the conveniences of a luxury hotel. Spa robes, plenty of towels, toiletries, etc., are provided by the generous hosts. Although we were visiting in winter and could not enjoy the pool, our teens loved ending the day in the hot tub and sauna. We loved the ambiance of the gas fireplace and enjoyed listening to music through the whole house speakers. From the moment I booked, Martina was incredibly responsive and kind. She checked on us each day of our stay via text and offered suggestions for our adventures. She even made our lunch reservations for us on a busy day in Bolzano. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wow, wow, wow

There is not enough I can say about this property and the owners. I almost didn’t write this review because I would want to keep this true gem selfishly to myself. This was the highlight of our trip to Italy and quite frankly one of the best homeaway experiences we have ever had. To start - the house is sheer perfection. Everything one could need with luxurious touches, such as robes and pool towels. The indoor and outdoor living is truly a dream come true. The house was spotless and impeccably decorated. And now about the hosts. I have never had someone care for us while on our vacation as much as these owners did!! Martina was amazing- texting me everyday / giving me ideas where to go, weather reports etc. all her suggestions were the highlights of our week here. They made us dinner reservations as well, and you could tell they sincerely care about our happiness. They cared for us so well I wanted to stay forever. Hansjoerg and Martina’s made our trip with our family and friends beyond memorable. We hope to return!!

Outstanding, Amazing, Modern and Game Changer!!

Wow, I am not sure where to start on our stay at Villa Aich! I have stayed in many VRBO’s over the last several years and this one was a game changer. The level of cleanliness, friendliness and accomodations was over and above. Before our arrival I received a few emails from the owner Martina to welcome us and ask if we had any questions. We arrived very late on our first night and the owner Hanjorg was there to greet us and show us how to use the “smart” house. Both Martina and Hanjorg were both so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome in their amazing home. The home itself is amazing, with great views and the modern style of the house is great. The owners did not overlook any detail of the house as it is fully stocked with just about anything you can think you will need on a trip to another country. The are that the house is in is a just outside of a small village with many great restaurants, pubs and shopping. The house sits amongst the fields of grapes and apples, which are two of the regions biggest crops. The hiking and biking can be done right outside your doorstep! You may hike to many castles in the area (which I highly recommend ).and the views from the area are spectacular!! I cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was in the South Tyrol region. I would give this stay more than 5 stars if it were possible. It is going to be hard to find another VRBO that tops the stay we had in Villa Aich. Martina and Hansjorg went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in to their home! If you are traveling in this region and need a place to stay, Villa Aich will not disappoint! It was outstanding, amazing and a game changer,!!

Wunderbare Zeit in St Pauls

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen, Luxus pur. Uns hat es bei Hansjörg und Martina sehr gut gefallen. Martina hat sich sehr um uns bemüht und uns zum Start schon bestens versorgt und eingewiesen. Die Urlaubswoche war sehr erholsam. Eine Besonderheit durften wir im wunderschönen Eppan noch erleben, am sog. Herz Jesu Sonntag, an dem wir vom Jacuzzi aus, mit einem leckeren Weißburgunder die vielen Feuer in den Bergen (u.a. Herzen, Flaggen, Kreuze) bewundern durften. Gerne wieder!

Die Villa war purer Luxus. Alles hochmodern, super sauberund sehr komfortabel.Der Pool spitze.

Die Vermieter Martina und Hansjörg haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Bei der Ankunft war schon eine Erstversorgung im Kühlschrank. Wir erhielten viele Tipps zu Restaurants und Wanderrouten. Sehr sehr nette Vermieter!

Entspannung pur in Traumvilla!

Überaus freundliche und herzliche Vermieter, die uns in Empfang genommen haben und auch verabschiedet haben:) Der Kühlschrank war mit Köstlichkeiten gefüllt und Brötchen lagen bereit, so konnten wir unseren ersten Morgen direkt genießen. Überhaupt ist das Haus und der Garten ein Traum. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und die Ausstattung, z.B. der Küche ist perfekt! Aber auch sonst bleiben wirklich keine Wünsche offen!! Vom Haus aus kann man sofort los gehen und die herrliche Gegend erkunden. Es gibt zahlreiche Spazier- und Wandermöglichkeiten. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Burgenwanderung! Auch das hübsche kleine Ortszentrum St. Pauls ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Dort gibt es z.B. Bäcker, Metzer und sogar einen Supermarkt. Aber auch als Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge in Südtirol und darüber hinaus ist das Haus perfekt. Es gibt wirklich viel zu erkunden und wir wären sehr gerne noch länger in diesem herrlichen Domizil geblieben! Herzlichen Dank noch einmal an Martina und Hansjörg Engl.

Das Haus ist der Ausgangspunkt, um Bozen und ganz Südtirol zu erkunden . Inmitten von Wein und Äpfelplantagen , schönen naturbelassenen Wegen , einer perfekten Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge lässt dieses Domizil keine Wünsche offen !

…zum rundum Wohlfühlen!

Bei diesem Haus bleiben keine Wünsche offen! Wir wurden persönlich und sehr herzlich von den Gastgebern empfangen und in alles eingewiesen. Ein top gepflegter Garten mit einem schönem Salzwasserpool, Whirlpool und gemütlichen Liegen lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das sehr großzügige Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub gerne hätte: viele Handtücher + Strandlaken, Leesestoff, eine gute Musikanlage, Spielen, Tischtennisplatte, Grill und Fernseher (für den wir gar keine Zeit hatten). Sehr gefreut haben sich auch alle über die Kühlschrankfüllung+Brötchen, die einen Einkauf am anstrengenden Anreisetag überflüssig gemacht haben. Auch mit wertvollen Ausflugstipps wurden wir versorgt. Alles in allem, ein toller Aufenthalt!

Traumhafte Villa

Sehr schöne Villa mit herzlichen Gastgebern

Wir waren zu fünft im Juli/August für 12 Tage in der Villa Aich. Das Gebäude ist außen und innen ein Traum und sehr großzügig - wer moderne Architektur und Inneneinrichtung mag, wird sich hier wohlfühlen. Der neue Pool ist natürlich ein zusätzliches Highlight - immer angenehm temperiert auf 26 Grad. Der zusätzliche Whirlpool auf der Terrasse im Obergeschoss ist vor allem abends sehr schön. Von der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Blick nach allen Seiten - auf das nahe Bozen, den Mendelpass und in der Ferne das Weißhorn mit seiner auffälligen Gipfelpyramide. Da kann man übrigens auch prima hochklettern, wenn man einigermaßen trittsicher ist - allerdings muss man erst ein Stück fahren. Die Gastgeber Martina und Hansjörg sind wirklich sehr nett und herzlich, das wurde hier ja alles schon zur Genüge beschrieben und kann von uns zu 100% bestätigt werden. Besser geht es wirklich nicht. St. Pauls/Eppan selbst ist eine Wein- und Obstanbaugegend - hügelig und sehr hübsch. Wer (hoch)alpin unterwegs sein möchte, hat dazu (nach etwas Anfahrt) aber auch nach allen Seiten die Gelegnheit - Seiseralm, Rittnerhorn, Texelgruppe, Weiß- und Schwarzhorn sind alle nicht weit weg. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt, den wir bestimmt wiederholen werden.

Alles wirklich perfekt

Die Villa Aich ist ein top modernes, sehr hochwertiges und unglaublich gepflegtes Ferienhaus mit Pool und Whirlpool in Eppan St. Pauls. Aber das wird noch alles getoppt von der sehr aufmerksamen und liebevollen Betreuung durch Martina und Hansjörg. Wir fühlten uns ab dem ersten Moment willkommen und haben die Woche bis zum letzten Tag sehr genossen. Wir würden uns freuen, wiederkommen zu dürfen. Die Region bietet sich fürs Wandern an, für Weinliebhaber und einfach nur zum Genießen. Also von uns klare 5 Sterne und eine noch klarere Weiterempfehlung!

Traumhafte Auffahrts-Tage

Bei wunderschönem und warmem Wetter konnten wir das verlängerte Wochenende in dieser wunderschönen Villa mit Pool & Whirlpool so richtig geniessen! Wir alle haben uns von der ersten Minute an zu Hause gefühlt & die Kids haben den Pool bereits wenige Minuten nach der Ankunft getestet. Das Zentrum von St. Pauls (sehr hübsch!) ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt & lädt mit gemütlichen Baren zum verweilen ein. In der Metzgerei findet man das perfekte Stück Fleisch für auf den grossen Tischgrill - sehr zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank auch an Martina & Hansjörg für den herzlichen Empfang, die vielen Tipps und für die extra Bett-Ausrüstung!

Fantastic Experience!

I just returned from a fabulous visit to the Villa Aich in San Paulo, Italy. We visited South Tyrol for a Hockey tournament played at the PalaOnda Arena in Bolzano and the Wurth Arena in Egna. It is my pleasure to write a review of the Villa Aich. This home was a great location relative to Bolanzo and the arenas. Easy to navigate, and great road system, we had no problem getting around in our rental car. The gated yard and indoor parking kept the car and our belongings safe. The house is nothing short of fantastic! It stood out in the area, as a modern, and distinctive house among more traditionally styled homes. Although modern, it also exuded warmth and comfort, with gorgeous hardwood floors, and warm playful colours throughout. The home was perfectly appointed with all the amenities needed for a great family vacation. The pool, although not heated, was enjoyed by our 2 children, ages 8 and 12. We all loved a nightly hot tub, a great chance to look out over the surrounding mountains. The beds were comfortable, with high quality and clean linens. 2 Full and 1, 1/2 Bathrooms were beautiful, with ample towels, robes and slippers. We enjoyed dining at the family sized table - and we were all WOWED by the walls of glass that greeted us every morning. The Owners were fantastic to deal with. They care about their home and vacation rental business, and it shows. Very trustworthy, and fortunately they provided us with some basics, as most businesses were closed when we arrived due to the Easter Break. We have stayed at many 5 star resorts, including Four Seasons, Fairmont Hotels and Rocco Forte and this beautiful home compares with them all. A great experience, and we dream of the day to return to amazing Villa Aich and South Tyrol, Italy! Thank you!

Perfektes Wochenende in der Villa Aich

Wir hatten ein Perfektes Wochenende in der Villa Aich! Bei underer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank bereits gefüllt und sogar eine Torte gab es anlässlich eines Geburtstages den wir gefeiert haben! Die Villa an sich ist auch wahnsinnig schön! Super großzügig, sehr schön eingerichtet und pikobello sauber. Wir waren zu 7. und hatten alle mehr als genug Platz. Die Lage ist perfekt, Bozen und Meran sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und es können diverse Ausflugsziele schnell erreicht werden. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ist das Haus super gelegen. Zu guter Letzt sind die Gastgeber wahnsinnig nett gewesen und haben uns viele schöne und interessante Tipps und Emfpehlungen für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Wir wären am liebsten dort geblieben!

5-Sterne Deluxe - Toller Urlaub in einem schönen, hochwertig ausgestatteten Haus

Wir (zwei Familien mit insgesamt 3 Kindern) verbrachten 14 Tage in der Villa Aich und hatten dort eine superschöne Zeit. Besonders genossen wir die geräumige und hochwertige Innenausstattung sowie die Terrasse und den Garten des Hauses. Der Garten bot genug Platz zum Entspannen, zum Toben und Spielen und auch an der Tischtennisplatte wurden täglich spannende Spiele ausgetragen. Das Haus ist ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Mountainbiketouren direkt vom Haus aus oder mit kurzer Autoanfahrt. Familie Engl stand stets aufmerksam und fürsorglich mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. So fanden wir bei unserer Ankunft einen mit allerlei Leckereien gefüllten Kühlschrank sowie eine vielseitige frische Obstauswahl vor und konnten den Urlaub mit einem leckeren Gläschen Südtiroler Wein beginnen und von der ersten Minute an genießen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön von uns sieben! Es war toll!

Tolles Ferienhaus in schöner Lage

Wir waren im August zu acht in der wunderschönen “Villa Aich“. Wir haben unseren Urlaub vom ersten Moment an genossen. Ganz nach dem Motto “ankommen und wohlfühlen“ war der Kühlschrank bereits mit dem Nötigsten befüllt und auch Wasser, Wein, Brötchen und Obst waren vorhanden. Die Villa selbst ist ein Traum und lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen, die Fotos versprechen nicht zu viel. Eine absolute Wohlfühloase in einer sehr schönen Gegend, in die man nach einer Wanderung gerne wieder zurück kommt. Tolle Wandermöglichkeiten in der Gegend, teilweise sogar direkt vom Haus aus. Der Ort selbst bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Nicht zu vergessen die exzellente Betreuung vor und während der Reise durch Martina und Hansjörg, großes Kompliment! Wunderbarer Sommerurlaub in traumhaftem Haus

Wir verbrachten mit 8 Personen einen herrlichen, zweiwöchigen Familienurlaub bei Martina und Hansjörg in Ihrer sehr komfortablen und toll ausgestatteten Villa, die sich am Rand des kleinen Dorfes St. Pauls befindet. Innerhalb weniger Minuten kann man den Dorfkern mit seinen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Gleich zu Beginn wurden wir aufs herzlichste begrüßt und Martina verwöhnte uns immer wieder mit leckeren Südtiroler Spezialitäten. Den beiden lag es sehr am Herzen, dass wir unseren Urlaub in ihrem schönen Domizil von Anfang an in vollen Zügen genießen konnten. Obwohl wir sehr aktiv und ständig unterwegs waren, haben wir dennoch viel Zeit in der Villa verbracht, weil wir neben dem gemeinsamen Frühstück auch abends immer gemeinsam gekocht und im Garten gegessen haben. Die tolle Küche mit dem offenen Wohn- und Essbereich sowie der Garten bieten sich einfach optimal dazu an. Sehr gefallen hat uns auch die große Terrasse auf der ersten Etage, wo die Kinder abends im Pools lagen und die Erwachsenen auf bequemen Liegen den Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas Wein genießen konnten. Wer sich in seinem Urlaub abschotten und hinter großen Bäumen oder Mauern verstecken will, sollte ein anderes Haus wählen, denn die Villa bietet auch vom Garten oder der oberen Terrasse aus schöne Blicke in die Bergwelt von Südtirol und das bedeutet natürlich auch, dass man schon mal dem einen oder anderen Nachbarn zuwinken kann. Da wir alle Musik lieben, hat es uns auch die Musikanlage angetan, mit der man das ganze Haus inkl. Garten und oberer Terrasse synchron ansteuern kann. Sehr angenehm, denn die Anlage kann man prima mit einem iPhone oder iPAD koppeln. Zu guter Letzt müssen wir unbedingt noch erwähnen, dass wir in all unseren Urlauben über die letzten Jahre noch keine Vermieter kennengelernt haben, die so liebenswert und herzlich wie Marina und Hansjörg sind. Den beiden liegt es echt am Herzen, dass man eine wunderschöne Zeit in ihrem Haus verbringt. Vielen Dank für alles und liebe Grüße. Micha, Claudia und der ganze Rest der Familie

Great House & Owners/ Great Area

South Tyrol is one of our favorite parts of the world. We were so fortunate to find Villa Aich on VRBO. It is located just outside Bolzano in a very quaint village of St. Pauls/San Paulo. It is a beautiful, new home in a friendly neighborhood with easy walking access to coffee, food, drinks. The area has an unending supply of outdoor and cultural activities including vast numbers of wineries. As others have said, you can't find better property owners than Martina & Hansjörg. They keep the house at the highest standard, are extremely personable and quickly respond to any questions around the property and activities in the area. We hope to get back in the future.
