great family weekend

we had a great family getaway at the seaside park rental! everything was new and clean ! The one thing i would suggest is a keypad for entry and exit.

Great rental - Excellent location

The house was great! Clean, newly renovated - the listing photos and information are spot on. The location was excellent. Easy access to Toms River, the boardwalk and the beach! Super close to everything. Just be aware you do need to bring everything with you - including blankets, pillows, dish soap etc. We would definitely rent this place again!

Beautiful Home

My family just spent a week in this incredible home. The location was perfect, a short walk to the beach and bay. Walkable distance to the boardwalk for family fun. The house was the perfect size for 4 adults and 3 children under 4. It was very clean and beautiful. Perfect fenced in yard for the kids to play. Chelsea was a great host and responded quickly to my questions.

Convenient location

Lovely home in a very convenient location close to beach, boardwalk, restaurants and stores. Accurately described in ad. Chelsea is an excellent hostess and responded quickly to questions and concerns. My only complaint is there wasn’t any shade on the porch, which is in the sun all day. There is no awning or umbrella for outside dining table making it uncomfortable for us to enjoy hanging out outside other than in the morning when sun wasn’t hot. But, overall, the six of us were very comfortable with the accommodations.

Ocean Mist

Very clean, updated and well maintained home. Owner is very responsive to questions. House is a short walk to the Seaside Park beach (2 blocks). Only real negative is that you pretty much need to bring everything with you, from linens and towels to beach stuff (chairs, umbrellas, wagon, etc), though you can opt to rent from a 3rd party provider. And you need to take all garbage with you when you check out, which was surprising. That said, if looking for a clean and updated 3 BR/ 3 bath house close to the beach, this is a very good option.

The house was nicely decorated and clean. The owner was very responsive. The pics for the house and what is included was not accurate. The sectional couch where my son was going to sleep was not there anymore. A small leather couch which no one could sleep on and only 3 could sit was is there now. The AC upstairs did not work. There were no fans. The beds shoe pics of bedspreads and pillows. I understood that we needed to bring linens but nowhere does it says pillows and bedspreads in pics are not included. We had to go out and buy blankets and pillows. There was not a blender which we needed daily so we had to buy one. There was also not a gas grill. We bought a ton of food to grill but couldn’t do so. They had ants but that is not their fault and I can understand that. Overall the house was clean but we were extremely disappointed with all of the things that we were not planning on buying. There was nothing in the drawers like a wine opener, tongs, cooking utensils etc. It was bare bones. Very disappointing.

Thanks Nuala. We do not offer a grill to guests in our listing. Additionally, our listing clearly states that we don’t provide bedding. We also communicate the no linens policy in both our initial booking message and our “know before you go” message before check in. Lastly, our kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, silverware, pots and pans, etc. We recommend you thoroughly read listing details and communicate any specific clarifying questions to future hosts ahead of your stay (for example, that you planned to use the couch as a bed) to avoid confusion for your future trips. Everything in the home is fully renovated and freshly painted. Appliances are new and spotless. Work out, hang out and chill out with all the amenities of home. We are located two blocks from the beach and two blocks from the bay. So much to do and see!
